Its risen 40 pips so far - and even with nice PA - makes a change

4955 to 4970 is all R - so would need to breach both prices to stay with any buys

Supports at 4920 - 30 area

Most mornings this pair is not that nice - ie PA not too good and manipulated as well

This morning - its in a bullish PS with nice waves

I have marked 4 scalps within last hour

I have taken 3 with last one being the sell at 6 59 am ish - ie a 7 00 am set up for the EO

Out in about 20 mins or so

Back for 9 00 am then

Too many EU scalps for 4 - 8 pips so far - but they all add up - EA is a better mover but PA not that nice atm

Need to know exact time you entered a buy - and why you could not exit minus 2 or 3 pips etc ?

Remember though - Its just one trade out of hopefully - 10 to 20 trades you will take over 3 or 5 hrs

Main question now - I have missed all the first 30 mins of London Open from 8 00 am

I reckon we have seen 200+ pip moves off 4 or 5 pairs that have been nice sells for approx. 30 min - some still carrying on

Did you catch any ??

Even with me not being here - I got this one easy enough off partial stakes

It dropped under 132 20 - first clue for more sells

It then dropped under 132 00 - next clue for more sells

Now at 131 50 - so a 75 pip drop from LO at 8 00am

Ideally you have at least 25 pips off a move like this - anything over 50 pips is very good

As I am typing from last comment 3 mins ago - its carried on down now under 131 50 and testing 131 33

Any bounce staying under 131 60 is another sell atm - then its time rules on low next

London Open falls after 8 00 am

GU - been a scalp buy from after 8 30 am

Noticing a strong yen resulting on falls on EJ / UJ / GJ etc

All falls increased from LO and after 8 00 am

It is a key hour and window for trading - its a shame for me as I miss it on school / college runs at least 3 times per week - that's why I start for 6 00 am time - hoping I can earn off partials when we do have nice moves - as happened this morning

9 mins - 37 -42 pip move all depending on your entry

Classic SSS ( sweet spot scalp) based on my method of LR's / time / PA / levels etc

It does not matter if you are 1 or 2 mins late on entry - or even get out after just 6 mins - you should still make over 20 pips

If not - ask yourself

1. Is my set up correct?

2. Do I understand F's method enough ?

3. Was I not looking at enough pairs to spot these moves - EU was also OK on similar scalp buy

4. Am I too slow - ( ie not one click in and out )

5. Am I always wanting more confirmations ??

6. Where would my stop be - don't let it be over 5 pips from entry

7. Am I focused enough ??

I did not miss the scalp sell off after 9 00 am - but did not think it would drop 30 pips in 9 mins again on EA

No breach of 5115 - 8 50 am low

Now probability favours higher again - but price can test under 5115 after 20 -30 mins if it going to

If we go 1 hr + with no breach - then supports stronger and again favours more of a retrace back up

EA range 5115 to 5160 - 45 pips to bounce around in

If we go under 5112 and 5100 - sell more

If we make over 5160 - then buy more on pullbacks etc

I was planning to buy lower..but i get stopped out every time as EU was falling...

Now EU is in a range...can't think much...😕

Relax and have a break Sun - and just don't worry or stress any more - we are identifying your weakness more now - and we can resolve it - no problem at all - but it will not happen over night - it might take a month or two

When you have time - no rush - I am off out - type up all your trading thoughts along with times this morning and your plans along with your reactions when they worked - and did not work

This will all help getting you back into the correct trading zone etc etc

Hi F,

What are the your settings for the two short lr's? I note on your chart you have two not three. Is that now your preferred method to use sets of two lr's? If that is the case what settings do you have for them?

For me I only have the lr's turning up at the end of 08.52 which to get confirmation I wait till the end of that minute meaning I am buying from 08.53. If the tail at 08.52 was the end then the lr's wouldn't have turned up, hence the need to wait till the end.

My buy price would then be 1.5122 to 1.5124.

When we get confirmation of the move ending I would need to wait for the end of the bar at 09.02 and then closing at 09.03, which could be from 1.5146 to 1.5142.

In my understanding I would have got from 24 at best and 18 pips at worst. Still good obviously for a few minutes of course. What about partials here though, how many points would you have given back on them in this situation?

Thanks for your anticipated response as I am looking to fine tune things over the holidays and see where I can improve.
