Shouldn't have made any difference - I had a buy order of 1 YM contract under the market. That should have held it up for sure. I just don't understand it.

What just happened is a classic manipulation. The EUR/USD went down to knock out all the longs, before shooting up. I was sorely tempted to put £10 a pip on it but restrained myself.

It was probably some bank hammering the market with a £10 sell bet. Would have worked out fine too if someone hadn't decided to put the squeeze on with a bet £20 long.
