Good call mate !!

But it happened at 6am........

:( missed it.

you should experiment and utilise buy/sell orders in order to catch the move

it's similar to setting a stop loss or limit order

that way you will never miss that crucial move

FTSE .................critical juncture

will it hold

other wise 50 MA next target on downside

Morning ws, everyone!

I have had a nice 30pnt start to the day! Short from 5169 to 5139.

I have resi at 5137.

As you say ws, if this does not hold we go down further. However is the next level the 200ma on the 10TF or in your opinion or do you suggest more likely the 50ma on the hourly?

Thanks for all your help by the way!

:)

Dentist re Vantagepoint - I trade eod with it.

I use VP 7.1 so it is not the latest version. This uses correlations with around 7/8 markets typically and the latest versions use significantly more.

It really is nothing more than a trend follwoing systema nd to say it has predictive power is a step too far for me - but that said if you apply good discipline it can be helpful.

I tend to look at predicted short term difference crossovers for early indications of change and then neural index changes and finally ema crossovers for confirmation. As with everything it is not always right but does give a higher probabililty of success...if you follow it.

As we stand to day for the ftse, Dax and S&P the early indication has been triggered for a downside move - several days ago but the neural index and ema crossover suggests long positions still.

MA on larger TF's more important

but 200 MA on 10 min is very very powerful and must not be ignored

WS,

60 TF closed below support at 5137. Are you now looking at shorts? Depending on what happens with the 200ma on 10TF and a possible retest of 5137?

Short down to 50ma on 60TF?

:)

keep an eye on gap fill support @ 5125 level

but looking very bearish....bear flag

next support @ pivot S2 - 5119 & 5110

I am also looking at market leading stocks for signs of reversal as larger TF has support

I bought GBP/JPY at 149.10 using Newtron Bomb's technique. got few pips close to stop loss, and now reversing. Let's see.

WS:, its at your buy level :)

yes but we must wait for confirmation

need to see stabilisation otherwise I'm buying a falling market

we tried to put in a double bottom @ 5130 on 10 min TF....just above 200MA

we should see support @ 5120 -5110

I may enter @ 5100 region ...with ideal stop loss 5075

interesting ................

DAX @ 61.8% Fib retrace @ 4620
