Do we interpret this as a failed retest

waiting for housing data for confirmation

Dollar seems to be fighting back

db can ask why 21 and 125 settings on ma..?

i've tried a few variations that i've heard other people using 14, 20, 50, 100, 200...and in back testing i just feel more comfortable with 21 and 125.

i think you need to find the right combination for the TF you're in, and let backtesting tell you what seems to fit best.

I was waiting for 4490, should have taken 4485 - would have been an easy 20p - too cautious by far..

and down she goes!!!

i swear to god, i was typing and watching my chart, waiting for it to go upto my trend line at 4479...was miles away, so kept typing.

then my igindex chart suddenly updated showing it had hit it and retraced!!! i feel like victor meldrew but..I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!

i could kick myself.

ahh, well, my own fault for taking my eye off the ball.

ws am i right in thinking that the weak/strong $ will only affect the s&p and dow in hours and the ftse will follow?

these breakout retrracements behaving today..

i realise this is going against the trend, but i'm thinking of a long @ 4456 (if it comes down there).

looking for a good entry point for a short, was thinking around 4465. Anyone else thinking along the same lines?
