Should make things a little clearer......I'm not a mad scalper ( i leave that to the futs) I mainly try and look for sett ups that I can leave on for more than just a few mins but with a low risk entry point if I'm wrong. Thats not to say I wont jump on a "news move" if i see one

Probably a big buyer, that entered a spray order. A spray order hits all the orders, but doesn't look at reserves, so it pays up. That's what happened I think!

Where'd evrybody go?

Gone very quiet here yesterday/today - is it because PitBull's away :)?

I have decided to reduce my posts here at least for the moment...... I shall put things on my blog, though, including my GOOG trade in a few minutes time.

Hi gadgetman,

cmtl is selling off after the co raises FY06 guidance by 2 cents.

And for Richard's blog the address is www.nasdaq-trading-school.com

-Dave.

Thanks for the link dvdh...

Carn't really make out the charts though on the GOOG example :?:

So I had a quick doodle on my chart, to see what I could make of GOOG in the context of the Example shown on the link :?:

Forgot my RIMM chart

And a chart of GOOG...I know its pointless as a set up because of the elapsed time ...but its more highlighted and gives more of an example of methods i'm using

I have been looking in regularly the last couple of days, perhaps everyones out spending their gains of the last couple of weeks  especially PB

Bez the charts you've posted there not actual trades are they? just example of chart patterns?

Having a job focusing at the moment keep getting drawn to 4x :devilish: any good books on self discipline and staying focused?

Thanks dvdh
The CMTL price started to drop just after the scheduled time for their conference call so think that played it's part. Thanks for the url too.

Richard - I hope that decision isn't based on comments in the "Talking Dirty" thread?

Great to be back

Hi guys

Got back from my weekend this evening and had a fantastic time in Slovak. Went to watch the tennis (Davis cup) and tried to spend my money, but its just so cheap!!!

Anyway, got back in the swing of things tonight and placed one trade on DNA for the continuation of the morning move short = breakdown of intraday low.

Took a cool $1.61 in 30 mins after the fall out of intraday support. Chart attached.

Bez, no bumbling at all, quality posts. Keep them up!

Samtron, books on discipline - "Trading in the zone" Mark Douglas. A definite lightbulb book.

Really sorry to hear that you have decided to reduce your postings here Mr Charts.
Personally I have found your input to this thread invaluable.
In the words of the "great" Patrick Swayze : "Ditto"
