Trump Presidency and the Consequences

It is seems to me that there are 2 aspects of Trump's nonsense. The 2 are inter-related. One is internal effects and the other deals with the rest of the world.
If the USA pulls up the drawbridge on the ROTW it damages itself and will not be at all competitive. It's exports will dwindle to a trickle as other countries take their old markets.
What happens internally is not really of much concern to the ROTW.
The USA made the big mistake of meddling in other people's disputes. Wasted trillions of $s in doing so, with next to nothing to show for it. Too stupid to learn that simple lesson. If the US leaders had studied their history they would know it has all happened before many times.

Perhaps the big brains on T2W could come together and work on a model.

Is it worth a thread?

Easy, look at what the Germans, French, Spanish & Italians and the Japanese are doing and copy them.

If Nisan, Renault, Vauxhall, Peugot, Seat, Fiat and VW, BMW and Audi can do it so should the UK.

One doesn't need to be a rocket scientists.

Moreover, after WW2, they all had destroyed and well demolished economies and now look where they are? Then there are Asian tigers.

Look, learn, copy to emulate. Nisan haven't imported the labour force, they are British.

Here is one idea, sack British and American management layer and replace with foreign manaagers for a new fresh perspective. (y)

I did notice that T. May did expressly reject the German model of worker participation at Board level. Silly woman.
Also wasted public money on 4 nuclear submarines. Estimated cost and running expenses £200 billion.

The idea is very common and look at the game of football. Full of foreign managers and players. Learn skills and how they go about winning?

What does the UK do?

Sell the national treasures to foreign buyers. Absolute freaky madness. Conservatives are the WORST in asset selling stripping in the name of free markets, sod the national interest. Much like Cameron and Osborne questioning why the Government should intervene in take overs, exporting British jobs, patents and industry.

Take back control she says, the politician who was in charge of the Home Office the longest 2010-2016 whilst migration ballooned. People have spoken. Not forgetting Tory party promises to cut migration numbers.

Crazy don't say it! Now we have TM trying to give birth to a more fairer society, at her age and with her background.

People will believe in all kinds of BS. They really do. :(

Oh I'm confused about all sorts. Show me someone who has all the answers and i'll show you a liar.

Help me clear some of it up.
Trump states that America needs cleaning up, starting with the removal of undocumented illegals bad people. Is there something wrong with this? Is there a reason why ordinary Americans would allow their country to turn into a cesspit of undesirables?

Any comments on this story for example?

Well, to begin with, you're equating "illegal" with "undesirable". This reflects shallow thinking. (Review the articles I've posted regarding this matter.)

As for having all the answers, one should at least be somewhat consistent. This reflects having thought about whatever it is one is saying. For example, you claim to be against "crony capitalism" yet support those to whom crony capitalism is fundamental to their way of governance.

http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2011/04/most-illegal-immigrant-families-collect-welfare/

Surprise, surprise; Census Bureau data reveals that most U.S. families headed by illegal immigrants use taxpayer-funded welfare programs on behalf of their American-born anchor babies.Even before the recession, immigrant households with children used welfare programs at consistently higher rates than natives, according to the extensive census data collected and analyzed by a nonpartisanWashington D.C. group dedicated to researching legal and illegal immigration in the U.S. The results, published this month in a lengthy report, are hardly surprising.Basically, the majority of households across the country benefitting from publicly-funded welfare programs are headed by immigrants, both legal and illegal. States where immigrant households with children have the highest welfare use rates are Arizona (62%), Texas, California and New York with 61% each and Pennsylvania(59%).The study focused on eight major welfare programs that cost the government $517 billion the year they were examined. They include Supplemental Security Income (SSI) for the disabled, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), a nutritional program known as Women, Infants and Children (WIC), food stamps, free/reduced school lunch, public housing and health insurance for the poor (Medicaid).Food assistance and Medicaid are the programs most commonly used by illegal immigrants, mainly on behalf of their American-born children who get automatic citizenship. On the other hand, legal immigrant households take advantage of every available welfare program, according to the study, which attributes it to low education level and resulting low income. The highest rate of welfare recipients come from the Dominican Republic (82 %), Mexico and Guatemala (75%) and Ecuador (70%), according to the report, which says welfare use tends to be high for both new arrivals and established residents

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has said he was acting in his capacity as a U.S. senator when he met with the Russian ambassador at the Republican National Convention, but The Wall Street Journal reports that he paid for related expenses with his political funds and that he spoke about President Trump’s campaign at the event.

No wonder Trump considers the media to be enemies.

After badgering Hilary was given about her emails it's shocking something like this can happen so soon.

I don't believe these nit twits quite know how all this biz works.

Anyone in a place of influence, be it in business or government is a potential recruitment target by foreign forces.

It all starts off with an innocent meeting or drink and one thing leads to another before one is talking money, politics and influence. The money is not small either, it can be literally in billions with the Russians subject to information provided and influence wielded.

Then there are beautiful women, men and under aged kidos. Really, you can ask for what ever you want and they'll make it happen.

It could be just power you crave, that too can be seen to, with oneself quickly rising up the ranks with nods and winks in right places. Fast cars and expensive wine can be yours. What ever tickles your fancy.

Before one realises, one is in a compromising position, which can look all very embarrassing and best dealt with quietly. Hey presto one is recruited into circle of influence and power plays just exchanging bits of info and when the time comes play a certain part.

This is why, these interactions must include the intelligence departments and have nod of approval from the top.

For all we know Trump already has billion dollar agreement with the Russians. Who knows? It's no big deal. That's how influence and power is carved out.

What is shocking is to embark on these meetings whilst electioneering in a covert way and to deny what has taken place, knowing full well it's not allowed and one is braking the rules.

Trump says it wouldn't be reported if they met the equivalent parties for Germany or France. Well it would but because they are our allies it would be deemed less of a threat than meeting Russian or Chinese bodies, as they are presented and perceived as the enemy.

I'd think this would be obvious to most people but obviously not to these Republican most amazingly fantastic and outstanding numpties.

Power is all consuming. Rules & boundaries quickly become fuzzy when intoxicated.

They MUST answer the QUESTIONS; WHY these meetings took place, WHO participated and knew about them, WHAT were the objectives of the meetings, WHAT was discussed. WHAT were the outcomes?

These are really important questions?

I'd like to know if anyone supporting Trump feels they are not relevant if so why not?

Did they talk about the weather or the poll ratings? Just a few beers, how's the electioneering going mate? What can we do you for? I meant do for you?

Then Trump on public TV asks the Russians to hack Hilary's email server and show the world what they find? Nice! :cheesy:

Of course Trump & Co. will deny it but those wiley Russians are old masters of the honey pot trap and many others. It's all on tape and video of course. Hard to deny really.
All part of the game. The fish will try and bluff it out when their best hope is to admit it and resign if necessary. Shame when you have only just got elected.

Pence would make a much better President anyway.

It's all part of oligarchic, plutocratic, and aristocratic thinking, and a chief reason why the rich will very rarely understand the poor.

http://www.breitbart.com/jerusalem/...008-campaign-reps-secretly-talked-hamas-iran/

Amid the controversy surrounding White House National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s alleged conversations with Russia, it may be instrumental to recall that representatives for Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign were accused of meeting with Hamas and Iran.

Depending on what took place, the alleged contacts with Iran may have violated the Logan Act, which bars citizens from negotiating with foreign governments in dispute with the United States. It may be questionable whether Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip, legally qualifies as a foreign government.

In 2008, Robert Malley stepped down as an informal foreign policy adviser to Obama’s campaign when it was revealed that he met with Hamas members.

Malley admitted to the meetings, but he claimed he met with the terrorists as part of his private job.
