The armed forces are all in Iraq & Afghanistan, the police are all filling in forms and Health and Safety don't allow them into crime prevention or detection without Risk Assessment panels sitting for several months first.

you can blame the police for that. Any attempt to alter what they do (despite their protests of desk dwelling) is thwarted because they promote a culture of overtime reliance. Their inefficiency is their gain and our cost.

Sounds like the perfect time to foment unrest and revolution then.

Bear in mind that the current form of democratic (?) government in the UK came about by civil revolution and the government have been smart enough over those last few hundred years to make it harder for any similar acts of revolution to take place.

Just takes a few gutsy men (and/or women –of any ethnicity or age or bodily degree of mis-shapened-ness or ability with or without facial hair [or any hair notwithstanding nor restricted to genital areas] or any type of transsexuality by decree, medical conversion or preference, notwithstanding those who have or may have been thought to have been involved in criminal acts against those who may or may not be mentioned herein, or indeed, any others by dint of not being specifically mentioned who will now need an 0800 trauma counselling line and will claim damages) to take up arms in the name of liberty, freedom and justice.

Come on, where’s your own John Hancock when you need him…you UK citizens (or are you now EU citizens – hard to tell) are more like a bunch of Tony Hancocks….

How do they do it ? By appealing to prejudice and bigotry that exists in a significant number of people. By blaming "them" for the problems stupid and ignorant people experience (or believe they experience) in their lives. It's how fascists always work.

I don't need to read their filth to know who they are.
The world suffered mass death, torture, maiming and pain for most people to understand the nature of nazis and fascists and their regimes.

The political parties in this country have simple agendas and themes:
All want power and the goodies that come with it.

Labour: "equality" = dumb down and more government
Tory: "self reliance" = do the best for yourself
Liberal: "fairness" = why are we always third and no-one takes us seriously

As for the BNP and their fellow travellers, their leitmotiv = a creed of intolerance and hatred, pure and simple

A criminal is this socialististic society is someone who puts too much of the waste imposed by firms in their product wrappings in their dustbins, someone who drives at 32mph in a 30 zone or parks wrongly, drives the "wrong" sort of car, fails to obey so many laws and regulations no-one but civil servants have ever heard of and, before long if the BSI get their way, fails to make a full risk assessment on any plant higher than two inches growing on their property.

Oh and criminals are non-Labour people who do the same shady things as Labour.

Whether or not SOME evidence does suggest this, this is irrelevent.

A responsible law abiding citizen, should accept that if they did commit such a crime, they would rightly have to suffer the consequences.
Society would deem that they do not deserve to be treat like a law abiding citizen - and they would lose their freedom and be sent to the big house. The guilty should not look to get themselves off the hook, just because it is themselves.
