They did that here in our local councils. They laid off 16 low level personnel earning 15K p/a and then gave the Finance Officer 175K bonus for making a net saving of 65K.

It's called enhanced capitalism as now we have 4 people doing the work of 20 which means productivity goes up and because more people are competing for less work we can keep the wages of the remaining 4 where they belong.

I think this is the last straw, the russians have been poked numerous times since 2014.....this may cause total chaos.
