So how many trillions do you control to reverse the market at these levels? :cheesy:

LOL can't see my shillings moving it much, might have something to do with George and Warren ringing me up all day for tips, I keep telling them to join T2W but they won't listen

the 1.8800 target less a calculated figure
Sorry for all of the questions, but I am rather new at this. What is this calculated figure you speak of and how did you calculate it please?

Garthm9, no one is going to hand you information on a plate so you have to go digging I'm afraid. I came on here a few months ago and asked questions and didn't get replies until others saw I knew at least the basics. I suggest you scour the net for as much info on fx as you can as well as the beginners threads on t2w and you'll get the answers to your questions.

It will feel like a lightbulb going on in your head when you work it out !

Happy learning and good luck

My short didnt do too badly in the end! Closed it out at 573 yesterday for +100 pips. On the sidelines on Cable at the mo, but STILL losing money on the Dow! I never learn!

That Four Stepper is there for things like that.
'I trade the dow when I'm tired and switching between a market that I'm in the groove with to a fresh one doesn't suit me.
I want to trade the market I'm familiar with within market hours and to stop when x y z ....

You can use it as many times as you like.

get off your butt

How does one detach themself from a bias which effectively goes against your strategy? Let me elaborate; I run both intraday and swing positions, I find it very difficult to take intra positions which contravenes the swing signals. Can anyone advise from experience how they overcome this dilemma?
cheers

Should we be expecting a pretty big move at 1:30 with the GDP data?

Well we got it but I was hoping for a dollar friendly figure. Played the casino and lost my day's profits. That's it until next week

Thanks

I appreciate the links. I have been off my butt to the tune of more than -10K in paper trading. The problem I have been having with beginner sites is how to weed out good from bad. It seems most systems rely heavily on money management and little on actual understanding of the market. I have been getting a 40-60% to 50-50% success rate using a combination of pivot, intraday fibs, and various other indicators, but my losers greatly exceed my winners in pips (20 -30 as opposed to 3 -10 respectively). If better money management is truly the answer, then so be it. However I was impressed by dc2000 calling the market accurately two days in a row, so I thought it worth a post to someone who appears to truly know what he is doing as opposed to one more beginners site that seems to be either guessing themselves or simply trying to sell something.
