I've just found this site today, and it looks really cool, glad I found it! I've been trading for 6 years now. But I just graduated form a Forex Price Action course taught by live traders that took the last 5 months. I'll be going live again in the GBP/USD, I can't wait. Looking forward in becoming apart of T2W!! 👍

Hi, I'm Thomaski79.

Been trading for about 3 years very lightly on FTSE 100 and DJI mainly then went back to study in September last year so had a bit more time to spend following the markets and working on strategies.

Made a lot of money since then but couple of crucial mistakes on stop losses and placing too much (got arrogant and thought I knew better than the signals) and piling good money after bad blew me up recently and I'm back to a small profit and much humbler - other newbies behind me learn from my stupidity!!

Look to learn from people who know better and install some discipline back in myself.

I find it irresistable to hear all the stories of wins and losses and strategies etc... very entertaining... I have to admit I have become a bit of an addict.. (to my own suprise)

What most excites me is to find out what makes you gamblers tick...

Hi everyone,

I'm John. I live in the Los Angeles area and I'm 64 years old. I became interested in trading years ago, but as I was busy working, so I didn't right into it. The first book I bought was "Technical Analysis for the Trading Professional" by Constance Brown. At the time I had absolutely no clue what she was talking about and promptly put the subject on the back burner.

Two years ago I was invited to one of the "go-no-go" “green light/red light” seminars. I knew that was just to good to be true and decided to get back to the subject. I'm retired and devote full-time to studying technical analysis, and I'm now beginning to understand Ms Brown. Now her books are the most used in my library.

I know enough to not “listen to the noise”, but sometimes I just can't help myself, and I try not to be biased by fundamentals. I think they are interesting, but not very helpful. I find that trying to make sense of it all is very time consuming. I'm especially interested in others point of view on this subject.

I'm a newbie here also. I trade the eminis...ER most of the time.....sometimes ES & Ym. I'm older than you, John...lol...and I live in Arizona. I've been trading eminis for about 3 years. I went through a lot of the "Gurus" and "trading programs" and ended up trading from a spreadsheet that recycles every 5 seconds. I love it. If anyone is interested, you can PM me. Greetings! Anyone from NYC? New to Wall Street and commodities trading.

Hello all. I am entering the world of Wall Street. I am a career changer and hope that I am making the right move. I will be commuting from Philly to work on Wall Street. I am working on my MBA in Finance and hoping to make some serious bucks! Any advice from seasoned professional?? I am starting from scratch with no real world experience in finance. To kick things off here's the lowdown on me...

I'm 31 years of age, live in West Hamspstead, London. I've been running T2W with the help of the staff and mods for about 7 years now. I first got interested in trading in 2000, like everyone it seemed at the time. I was drawn to technical analysis as that was a methodology that suited my personality, fairly analytical brain. I dabbled in spreadbetting, direct access trading and forex but I've long since realised what I'm good at is web stuff, and so decided to stick with what I know best - hence I leave the trading to the experts. All the same, I have a natural interest in the financial markets - after all who interested in money!

I now work full-time from an office in Soho, London where my time is split between T2W and my web agency, Dynamite Partners, which I set up about 18 months ago.

If you have any questions about the site or suggestions to improve the site, then feel free to pm or email me any time. I'm here to make sure your experience on the site is the best one possible, and I'm very keen to take on board any feedback I get from the members.

firstly thanks for T2W... its not often that people involved in this proffesion can meet up and communicate with likeminded screen watchers..!!
Ive been interested in trading for 10 years now, back then i started by buying MARKET EYE for real time info. Before the web explosion of course, and the feed for this was via a TV aerial. :-0
Over the years ive tried dozens of charting packages, and have discovered that bells and whistles apart, the same things basically tend to be offered.
So, my attitude and style of trading as been refined over the years, and the principals are applied to any market im watching. I do not profess to be an expert by any means, but with experience comes knowledge, and also an understanding of how markets work.
I have a great interest in how other traders think and work, which brings us back to T2W, .. so anyone want t share ideas and thoughts??

Good morning T2W members,

I'm Mark ~ originally from Cornwall (UK) and have been trading the FTSE for 3~4 years now (seems longer) by way of SB (4 different companies) using my own 'edge' that I perfected a couple of years ago. I now live in Puerto Pollensa on the lovely island of Mallorca and trade in the mornings, upto about midday. Afternoons are either spent reading (work) or playing tennis, flying or cycling (pleasure)

I tend to get back to England once a month to catch up with friends and to see what the weather's up to.

Hi, mark, saw with interest your Cornish roots, im nick based in Falmouth, been trading for some 10 years now, FTSE S&P mainly... i envy your lifestyle. Highlights the beauty of this game dosent it, being able ro work anywhere...

Wanted to say a proper hello to the forums since I just joined. My name is Greg and I trade the stock index futures mostly. I have been trading and doing strategy development work for the past 7 years. I have been using the trading and development platform, TradeStation, for most of my work thus far. I am a registered EasyLanguage Specialist and also a registered developer for that platform. I have a degree in computer science and enjoy the development and testing aspect of trading much more than I enjoy doing the trading part of things. I look forward to learning some new things from all of you guys and maybe sharing a bit of what I have learned too.
