Here is an update. For Fork traders, we know 80% of the time where the price is likely to go...and the market is still on target to get there.

Let's see how the market navigates forward. What I like about Pitchforks is that you can use it with any credible method and the results are simply POWERFUL!!! No escaping it! Remember...these lines are there in advance of price.
Want to add this comment for traders who may not be pitchfork traders... there are rules for drawing the forks for optimal and accurate results. It is not a trial-and-error method, where you "wing it" until it fits price. I saw a video a few years back where the presenter was discussing the Andrews' Pitchfork, and I could tell he did not know how to apply it correctly. If a trader does not know what is what, and follows that video, they would be in a mess...but they might tend to trust it because of the "credible" source, meaning the reputation of the presenter.
Be careful out there people! Not everything online is worth your time, effort, money and in some cases, the trading trauma and drama that is caused.
Interesting!!Hi again 2be,
Very nice videos and I certainly agree with your concepts...using the longer timeframes etcetera and confirming the entry using an approach to determine a change in momentum. In addition to the forks you mentioned, I include a few other approaches in my analysis as there are times when the three forks mentioned may not capture price action well.
Will also be sharing some pitchfork videos on YouTube soon.
Great stuff these pitchforks!!! 👍 Very glad you are an avid fork trader.
Certainly! Gaps are a big deal, especially trading indices.Hi FX4
I only trade DOW
covered the longs from below 44 to the top
So far the gap to the last session close has only partially been filled, but the intersession gap has been filled
Gaps for indices trading are important to me
Hmm...a mixed day in the markets. Any big movers on the DOW?Something is not right
DOW up 0.22%
S&P down - 1.81%
NASDAQ down - 3.24%
Russel 2000 down -0.6%
very interesting day on US indicesHmm...a mixed day in the markets. Any big movers on the DOW?
good points grabbed on that move down, taking it easy for a while, FED rate and FOMC conference, out at 725 shorts covered, very close to the last session closeCheck diversion on DOW m30, PA - stochs often a reliable outcome of such diversion - at least for few hundred points on DOW
traded both ways,
shorting from the top, failure of reaching the big number - for now
DOW so far today on M1 - M5 TFsgood points grabbed on that move down, taking it easy for a while, FED rate and FOMC conference, out at 725 shorts covered, very close to the last session close
That Wk pitchfork is great, also use daily pitchfork and M30
Excellent!!! Yes, weekly forks are great as well as those lower timeframes to flesh out the picture.good points grabbed on that move down, taking it easy for a while, FED rate and FOMC conference, out at 725 shorts covered, very close to the last session close
That Wk pitchfork is great, also use daily pitchfork and M30
Pitchforks and lines look great, but I do not trade FX, so I am not aware of possible S/R zones or any other useful info.Continuing to follow this pair...
Did not draw in other lines. Just giving the general idea. Price at a serious cliff-hanger with FOMC news later today.
