Which one do you feel better when

i) your stop was hit in a big move and it went far away or
ii) it was just hit and came back to original direction?

Its never a pleasant experience when you make a good call and that happens. many times because I move my stop that happens, but to me its all about trying to maintain a good r/r at each point of the trade. The last one really did annoy me as it seemed to come right back to my stop and instantly shoot up again.
I console myself by remembering the times that it has saved me
I only need 1 or 2 good moves a week and Im paid, so keeping my loses to a minimum is important.

Many years ago I tried to make a living card counting at casinos. One of the things that I was told was to always split two 8s against a dealers picture card. This to me seemed totally pointless as you are well behind and no chance of winning. The book simply said, that in this situation you are always going to lose in the long run, but by splitting the 8s you would lose less. That little message has always stuck with me.

I reached finals of late night poker in 2005.It was afree competition and the winner got 50K. 10,000 started I got down to live tv stages, was chip leader got a J flush only to find guy behind me had Q flush. In the end all I won was 3 nights in cardiff £200 exspenses, a night out with the party poker girls. Still it wasa great experience. Must show you my dvd one day:)

Im long euro waiting for 1.30. long at 1.3570 hoping for a spike. The patterns look bulish and worse case Ill lose 12 pips.

stopped moved to +16, will now leave for big ride.Sometimes when I call spikes like that I think Im a genius.Sadly i always seem to get put in my place
