December Starts Well

1st December 2006

Morning all, welcome to December, hope you all got a nice chocolate from your Advent Calendar this morning.

Four trades through the morning session and 0930 numbers today for +30, +30, 0, +30. Making a nice +90pip start to the day.

Speeches (not my cup of tea) and news later this afternoon, so some more action expected.

Another Very Profitable Day

A nice +30 off the 1500 ISM numbers for another +120 pip day, 3 days, 12 trades, 12 winners, 100%, now thats good going.

Another Week In The Saddle

No news around today so just the trades through the morning session for +10, -40, +30, +20 for a net on the day of +20 pips.

Done for the day at that, best get some Chrimbo shopping done.

Five trades through the morning session and 0930 news for +10, +30, -40, +30, +10 for a net of +40 so far today.

News around at 1100, 1330 and 1500 for me today, so quite a busy one.

Yesterday and Today

6th December 2006

Yesterday ended the day on +60 pips with a -40, +30, +30 following on from the previous post.

Anotehr steady day today, 8 trades through the morning, am news and pm news to bring -10, +30, -20, +30, -20, 10, 10, 30 for another +60 for the day. The IRAQ report at 1600 may provide a bit of movement, so will trade that then call it a day.

Todays Trading

7th December 2006

A tough session this morning, with a choppy 6 trades for +20, -10, -40, -20, +10, -10 a running loss of -50 pips on the day.

News around today, so will trade for a recovery from the loss position.

Yesterdays Update

8th December 2006

Finished the day on -20 pips yesterday, recovering slightly from the -50 pips of the previous psot with 5 further trades on the day of +20, -40, +30, -10, +30.

Thats fine, losing days are bound to come, but my stats put my winning days at 80% versus losing days of 20%.

Fridays Morning Session

8th December 2006

Three trades through the morning session for -10, +10, +20. So sitting tight on my profit for now. Numberd from the US at 1330 and 1500 which will hopefully add some more.

Running total for this first week of December is +150 pips.

No other news worth trading today so out of the market.

Movin On Up

12th December 2006

A busy morning through to the 1330 news there with 8 trades in for -10, 0, -10, +30, 0, -20, -10, +30, net 10 pips. Interest rate announcement from the US at 1915, so that should offer an opportunity to build on the days numbers.

I'm also doing some work on an 'end of day' forex approach, to be traded midnight to midnight which is looking promising, will keep you posted.

A +30 trade off the interest rates news last night bringing yesterdays total to +40 pips.

Just 2 trades through the morning session this morning for 0, +10.

Another news day, so expecting nice profit today again.

Out of the market for the day, two further trades through the afternoon news for +30, +30. Total for the day +110 pips.

Abandoned the search for an end of day approach, I'll stick with my current timeframes which I am comfortable with and are producing the goods, so why complicate the issue.
