CMC New Charting Package

Has any one noticed/started using the new charting package by CMC Markets. To me it appeared like a lot of jazz but not so much substance. A lot of features from the old package are removed which has been very irritating.

a) You cannot save templates so whenever you open chart you need to apply your studies/indicators once again every single time and for each instrument.

b) you cannot create custom indicators

Please let me know your comments on your experience.

the 2 min charts are poor ,I use them to get in, and out
 
hi i put on the new chart today and i cannot believe how bad it is
i always had them as the best but i feel soo let down by this charting package

save layout works only on the charts you have "saved" as part of the layout. Say I have a DOW chart with 5 indicators and 2 oscillators and I have saved it as part of my layout.

Now I want to see S&P500 - I start all over again on S&P chart. Add timeframe/add studies/add oscillators and save as layout.

And tommrrow I want to see FTSE?

And commodities futures roll over every 2 months so I might have to repeat this process every two months.

All in all a very rubbish change .. presumably to save cost of charting package by taking on a new provider.
 
The new CMC platform is total rubbish! So annoying. So what are you guys going to do? Any alternatives. Suggestions would be appreciated.

REALLY dissapointed. its so basic ! im sure its cost them less money.
Not sure what theyre playing at. Glossy is a good way of describing it. Ive been playing around with it all morning, trying to convince myself that its suddenly going to do something spectacular!! talk about back to basics!!!!!
 
The fib retacement does not have the 23% or am I missing something
If I am missing something can someone please point it out to me please!
 
It is terrible. Someone mentioned they changed it to cut back on costs, that is believable since its definitely not an improvement. Very disappointed.
 
The new charts are a complete disaster.

Apparently CMC have fallen out with FinanceIT? to whom they pay commission to for use of the software.

Yesterday I subscribed to Prorealtime, which have been written by the same developers. The functionality is awesome. The same as the old CMC charts, but with far, far, far more functions. I've had to re-write my own indicators like I had before, but it was exactly the same!!

So, now I've removed all my cmc charts, and all I need is the order ticket.

Prorealtime runs on Java, so no need to install any software. It also seems very quick. The EOD charts are free.

It was either this or go back to ESignal which is too expensive in my view.

Prorealtime looks the way forward! lot of unhappy people on the plus forum as well.

igindex have the same graphs sign up and get the realtime graphs for free

That sounds like a good option too, although I'm not keen on opening up yet another Spreadbetting account. I like prorealtime because if you're familiar with the old CMC charts then you'll love this, because it's the same but better!!

they use exactly the same charts i was trying to send you a copy of a chart but could not

Just subscribed to prorealtime>>> back to reality familiarity plus power!
just PROVES what rubbish the new charting is !!!!!!!!!:clap:
