Brexit and the Consequences

Only you could apply my logic to a rescue at sea off the Kent Coast

Related problem, different locations, one does not conflate with the other, so there's little point trying to make it so.

The correct course of action would be to save their lives in the first instance, determine their status and then process them from there. If a crime has been committed then prosecutions should follow.

Does it really look like an organised collusion between Albanian people traffickers and HMG to you? No. Then how does that compare with the publicly stated aims and actions of Spain/EU?

Did you not say:

It is if the NGO boats are sanctioned by Spain/EU. :whistling

And? I can't answer your point if you don't state it?

I fail to see difference between UK coastguard or that of Spanish or Italian boats picking these migrants out of the water from over loaded boats. Whether they are operated by tax payers money or independent merchant boats.

It's all about the slant to the original news which you guys seem to be happy with.

My question is does that make UK or Spanish government pursuing illegal activity because as you put it - there is "collusion between traffickers"?

I've told you before you should have gone to spec savers.

What is it that you are missing? Are you trying to compare HM Coastguard with NGO 'rescue' ships operating in the Med?

It's well known that NGO 'rescue' boats are effectively enabling people traffickers to traffic people, for their own political gains, they are sponsored by Soros after all!

For the traffickers there's lots of money to be made, it's big business. If the EU/Spain allows NGO boats to continue to operate, then they are de facto involved in people smuggling.

Who said anything about UK collusion? It is you conflating the two, no-one else, not even MSM, you are Atilla Fake News Daily

Project Fear pt 2 rolls on ............

Riots on the streets post Brexit? I bet the Government had nothing to do with this leaked report ;)

China throws doubt on post-Brexit trade deal: The Navy would not have done this without Theresa's say so:

All a bit too coincidental for my liking. Why can't May just admit she'd rather stay?

CV said collusion. That was my gripe with him which you butted into.

End of a wonderful bright and sunny day. :)

Don't be led SuperMC think about it.

US losing the war. UK maybe indicating to do a deal in exchange for recognising Islands belong to China and backing their view.

We've done poorly out of backing US. If US wants our support they should not take it for granted. All these tariffs - Trump is on a rampage.

Needs to learn how to treat allies.

UK and TM doing well. Play them off against each other to see who has most to offer us. These are just regular diplomatic games that countries play between each other. Keep calm and watch this space. I did read somewhere there is noise that China is getting ready for a possilbe show down military response to those Islands.

Tory remainer/EU stitch up ahead

Brexit: Barnier says agreement possible by early November http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-45470674

Funny how they know that agreement can be reached in 2 months time

Could it be that the vicar's daughter has been up to mischief and a bit of manipulation behind the scenes? Wouldn't it be nice to sit her down in front of a decent well-informed political interviewer (Andrew Neil me thinks) and try to get some straight answers. No chance ........:LOL:

I reckon that Ken Clarke's observation that "she's a bloody difficult woman" has been the most truthful statement in the whole of the Brexit debate!

You are probably right MC but ironically, I can't help thinking those words were not meant for public consumption.

Joe Public seldom hears truth be told. Otherwise we wouldn't have politicians like Brexiteers telling you lot what you want to hear. :cheesy:
