Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

The UK Statistics Authority watchdog is investigating complaints that the Prime Minister breached the rules on disclosing official figures by hinting that good news can be expected tomorrow. But Downing Street said: “The issue here is was he talking about tomorrow's figures? I'm telling you he wasn't."

Number 10 declined to say whether Mr Cameron had received advance notice of tomorrow’s figures before Question Time. A senior Labour source said: “"It is a sign of a desperately weak David Cameron that he has to play fast and loose with the rules on financial information to get him out of a political hole."

Hi bustech

How are you? Looking forward to your commentary before the Asian session.

Hi Samirs

Tight ranges, buying dips in ASX well supported 4485/4490, but gains should be capped at 4515/4520
Also taken a buy in FTSE at 5792 at the close in New York, just with the AUD/USD holding up well overnight, might be some upside in FTSE, good GDP read would help.

Kiwi dollar leading the current charge.

keep eye on uk gdp at 9.30, basing pattern yesterday ftse looks like accumulation, but US indices are very weak and when US opens may drag FTSE back to reality

Tim Haefke 1390 (5727) 1421.5 is resistance (5857)

EURUSD above 1.3000 currently 1.2998 would help indices rally.

Agree with that call, US will sell into strength.
From the floor at the CME, there is no volume in the selling.
So looks like a correction and not a new trend.
Lot of traders sitting on there hands at the moment.
