I'm loking at a daily candle chart on Dax and can see 2 areas (Jan 2014 and Jun 2014) where dax had a long run up and spent 7 days consolidating with big swings up and down before moving higher.
We are currently on day 5 of the next consolidation IMO.

Not sure SD you need to google the rules, I use the forks to show possible turning areas but I am using other analysis as well, check out the monthly chart it shows 5 clear waves up but how long is wave 5? So many way to look at it
