Good Morning All,

Got my pockets picked last session -55 pips. Went to sleep before the rally.
Put a Sell Limit in at .4806 for Asia and came 2 pips short at .4804.
Can't get a blasted thing going this week.

Gonna trade this session and if I can't get things going I'm takin' the rest of the week off, hittin' the beach, and ridin' the bike. Heck I might do that even if I have a great session.

+48 since last post. Kinda hard won though. Can't seem to find the right side this week.

Got an 8am meeting tomorrow so aside from a couple limit orders, I'm taking the night off (I'm 7 hours behind GMT).

Well I was able to repair much of the -94 pip deficit I had after the first two sessions of the week. Going into today -3.

Good Morning All,

Ended the week +15 after digging myself out of an early week hole.

Gonna spend a little more time at the beach and a little less time at my desk this week leading into the US holiday weekend. Volume's probably gonna be pretty light so be careful out there. Later.

Added 50 pips to the account mostly off the IFO data bringing the weekly total to +62 going into Wednesday.

More beach than trading for me will persist through Monday.

Good Morning All,

+18 for last session; weekly total +80.

Just don't have anything left for this session. My brain is toast.

I'm interested in the .4875 area and am setting an alert for that level but what I really need is to sleep a straight 8; something I rarely do. So a couple aspirins and a good movie is my trade for the London session. I'll work the US session instead

Good Morning All and Happy Friday,

Slept a straight 9 last night and got a pre-session nap so I'm feeling better. Didn't trade yesterday at all. Got out for a bike ride instead. So still + 80 for the week. My weekly target is 100 pips so I'll be looking for an opportunity or two to stay consistent with my goals.

Hi All,

Hope all had a terrific weekend. One more day before we see the desks start to re-populate as vacations end. I'm looking forward to it.

Ended the week +79 as a couple trades friday amounted to -1 for the day.

Anyway, 1 more weekend day for me here in the US. Had a great bike ride today and another planned on Tuesday so I'm gonna look for an opportunity or two for the London morning then call it a day.

This week should bring some volume back in and provide an idea of sentiment and direction going forward into the fall.

No trades last night. Early chop got me disinterested and I went to bed instead.

No US Treasury report tonight. Such a civilized market, I just love it.

Just got in from a full day on top of a good touch of food poisoning that has persisted for the past 24 hours.

As such, I'm laying out from trying to put an online analysis together for today. I'm trading the session, but clicking the mouse is about all I'm up for.

Good Morning All and Happy Friday,

Still not myself with whatever made me unwell. Better, but unable to ride the bike or do much of anything.

Still able to make a little money though: +33 for the session, +84 for the week.

I remain very impressed with the integrity of the ECB and although their position may have some gnashing their teeth and tearing their clothes, I believe they are doing the right thing.

Today I heard Bill Gross (a major figure in the fixed income market), tell our government that he has no more money to spend on any more offerings from distressed financial institutions and called on Paulson to get the act together. Wells Fargo had to solicit the retail market to finish an offering they put through today. Given that WF is in very good fiscal shape, likely the best in the country, it reveals that institutional money is drying up like a fed up father who's son just keeps asking for money but does nothing to get himself right.

US Dollar to the rescue.

Good Morning All,

Hope everyone had a splendid late summer weekend.

Friday's are proving to be a bit difficult lately. My daily pip goal is + 20 and going into the past couple Friday sessions I've been focusing on how close I am to the weekly +100 than how far I am from the daily +20. As such I've been trading with the fear of losing instead of from a blank slate. Fear of losing is my biggest issue and the past couple Friday's have triggered it good.

So, I went into Friday 0 for the day and + 84 for the week and came out -1 for the day and +83 for the week. I have to get the weekly total out of my head to trade each session effectively.

I have initial resistance in today's analysis at .4151 but it was just taken out so .4151 now is near support. Made +23 on the break to .4167 for a good start to the session.

Good Morning All and Happy Friday,

Traded London Morning and US Afternoon last session underwater from the start. Found support -59 and chopped around underwater closing London -15. Opened US to -26 and finished strong at the equity market close +4 on the day.

My technical analysis of the markets has been spot on. So I present as the perfect example of how excellent analysis does not equal trading profits. Take a lesson.
