Believe me, when you get stuffed long and short in the space of 30 minutes because people can't read/don't understand/omit highly significant words from the FOMC decision, you learn your lesson, take your ball and go home.

When I was trading interbank back in 70s and 80s we were given lots of rein

I looked at the logs I have and can't see you on it, but must admit my connection went and didn't have logs for some days

Are you using mIRC? suggest you download that, and have a look at the details on t2w help re the chat

I'm not sure what's wrong here mickandpete, sorry. It does a while to connect mind, up to a minute or two.

You might want to download mIRC from www.mirc.com as that is a lot more stable than the java access from the front page of t2w. Then go to View >> Options >> Connect >> Servers and select Othernet, Othernet random server, then Connect to Server. After a while it should log you in at which point type /join #trade2win to join the chat room. You may need to fill in an Email address and nick under View >> Options >> Connect as well.

WASHINGTON (AFX) - The Federal Reserve raised interest rates again Tuesday,
saying Hurricane Katrina could fuel inflationary pressures but does not pose a
persistent threat to the U.S. economy.
The 9-1 vote to increase the federal funds target rate by a quarter
percentage point to 3.75% leaves the key interest rate at its highest level
since June 2001.

DOW plunged 40 points after the decision.
