Where is the Dow & others heading in 2005?

FWIW there is a net TOMO drain of $8.5b today. Sometimes there is a correlation between liquidity add/drain and the dow, and sometimes there isn't. I expect a down day when there is such large drain - let's see if we get it.
Minder - Where do you get this figure from ?

Last 25 operations here.

Stephen Hulme is an ex bond trader who provides a chronicle of repurchase agreements here. The graphs are not updated with the placement today. So he shows a net drain of $11.25b. $3b added today, giving a net drain of $8.25b.

Sorry, I posted $8.5b earlier.

What with BA trying to commit suicide and Rolls Royce on the verge of striking, it seems like the good old 70s are back again.

Slade.....Did the guitarist in slade have a mullet?
Naw...his name was Dave Hill and he had long, lanky straight black hair and wore ridiculous clothes. He looked like a total prat !

Now Noddy Holder - that was a different matter - I saw him on TV recently in an Ad and he has STILL got a mullet.

Where is the Dow going to close on 19/08/2005 - I NEED to know folks :cheesy:

Ah - they were only for little girls

I was too busy driving my purple Ford Capri - with a black vinyl roof of course - down the Kings Rd, windows open, radio on full volume, shades on, cheesecloth shirt open half way to the waist, gold chain around my neck, skin tight flared jeans, Big Tissot watch on my wrist - trying to look

IMHO It's going to top out soon, with a likely fall back to 10560s.
