Where is the Dow & others heading in 2005?

now if only we had the canned laughter, then today would be like a bad sitcom.

the plot appears to be decidedly unclear at the moment. when IBM eases, then it will probably ease off.

might be time for a relative chart , SOX-wise.

FC

Soxx up 2.5%.. should ease off from there..

rest of market will follow.

ES`M just died on Mytrack,or is it the cme?

IB say "Globex report problems with ES market. Currently rejecting all orders" That's at 16:07 UK time

Was it me, or did that just look like a lot of panic short covering on the Dow (June) futures? It seemed rather like that 150 point spike we got a couple of weeks ago as a reaction to the Fed minutes.

User long at 10212 and FC short at 10244.
Hmmmm... this should be interesting.
Who closes first !

User has the edge so far.
Hope that you get a second wind FC
I'm now short on the Dow at 10254.

Home Depot, Intel, Coke and MSFT off their daily highs.
IBM still holding on relentlessly
Volume still fairly light
SOXX treading water for nearly an hour now
17 risers, 12 fallers and Pfizer undecided.

that'll be the beans and rice kicking in.

User will probably close before me..

i trade over 2-3 days usually, so it is probably to be expected.

unless he gets stopped out later this evening ;)

No but you'll be able to buy NYSE stocks at Home Depot checkouts

Interesting - all risers off their 11.00 highs except IBM and Walmart !
Currently 18 fallers/12 risers.
Volume still light.
Will we get a bear raid this afternoon ?
