Well the analysts are talking darkly of a double dip global recession !

Pretty tough to expect plenty of new jobs to suddenly appear from next to nowhere.

I will try another down bet and this time to 1255.

The politicians are trying to be upbeat to look good but mostly have little idea of what they are on about.

Sentiment on the boards seems very negative, but we've been down for 5 weeks in a row now, which I don't think has happened since 2008, and it's near support and the bottom of the short term trading channel so I'm going to go for it closing slightly up at the end of the week at 1305 please.

Was my sentiments too but 1300 line is obviously critical. We've finished below this week which is not good news. Next weekend will be important for the continuation or reversal pattern imho.

I'll reckon we'll get some range with bulls and bears fighting it out for the 1300 spot. On balance I reckon until Sept Oct time DOW will trend downwards. Let the bad news work it self through the system...
