GDP figures out at 9:30. expected to be good. Watch out £$

I have heard figures of 0.4% mentioned but this is one of those rumours.

Either way, if it is good this may already be factored in given the recent surge in GBP strength.

I will be watching what happens as a positive figure could still cause a sell off as price has gone up so much all ready.

Often is the case the real uplift is prior to announcement.

Time will tell.

Why dd i not short cable from the top? I have been scalp shorting it all morning for 30+ pips! 😕

Should have place the stops either side i started to place but cancelled! Would have been 100 pips in 2 mins!

I don't like being rolled out on a daily basis. Whilst the spreads are wider, the time you take slippage into account on the roll it is pretty much a wash. Bear in mind I tend to run these for a few days, stops permitting.

Left a limit buy order open last night (the Nov contract) to buy at 1 point above yesterday's high on the FTSE which was filled so am now long from 5196 with a 25 point trailing stop.

That's 5256 on cash right? whats ur s/l?

WS, you still in $JPY? some nice chances to buy in on those dips. Was long 9167, averaged in on the way down and long 9157 now.

Would like to see the $Y break 9200. This should give further strength to CAD/JPY to head towards 8800.
