KEY LEVEL 4745 .......................gap fill resistance and triple top resistance!!

strategy for Monday 16th August

> 4745 ..............go long once I have confirmation ....target 4785 ....possibly 4800 and above

< 4745 ..........coincides with bear flag trend line and I will go short target 4615 ...and 4690 !!

1st target hit on the downside

I am very impressed with the FSTE resilience amidst the global sell off .........I have a long bias for tomorrow on that basis

s500..only beginning to get bearish.need to see 995 act as a resistance.there is a downward price projection of 970.ie a horizontal count

2 downward thrust columns that lead to breakouts
need to see 1600 act as a resistance.there is a horizontal count of 1520

anybody got 4700 as a major res area..??

4699 is 50% fib from highs on 13th aug and low yesterday plus 4702 is first supp on IG charts, i also have a trend line at 4697 so around there yes.


I also have a res line at 4681 which is also gap window from yesterday. (4681.7)

Good stuff fast trader. So how do you know about this? When FTSE having a sell-off, it always falls towards or after the end?

Generally if you watch ftse between 4.24-4.30pm and if it moves up or down faster than dow it tends to fall or go up immediately after the close. I have been doing this for years, so i do have a bit of confidence in this strategy.
But this is not TA. This is just experience or gut feeling!!

If we can hold above 4670 i have a hourly chart with support at this level. Above this we have yesterdays gap, below todays. I think we will be in a tight range until the 9:30 news.

daily chart / updated.price has shot back into ,what looks like a top formation
just looking where it will reverse and head down again ...or possibly b/o upwards

4625 ish is where i think support comes in, down to R2 which is around 4610.
if we break higher 4725ish is the lower channel trendline we broke out of, so maybe a breather on this level before moving on?
