Excellent stuff Gadgetman! ;-)

Hectic for me.
GOOG +245
AAPL +60
ERTS +85
KLAC +81
QLGC +75
BIIB +8
AKAM +78
GILD -10

I only took three screen shots, all of QLGC.
1) exit
2) what happened later
3) level2 at exit to show reasons

I'll post 1) and 2) in a little while
3) - anyone I've seen can email me for that image if they wish

Wow, nice move's in KLAC and especially in TECD. I lost some money on ERTS too. I bought too late. So that cost me 18 cents. And I lost 20 cents in RIMM.
Although I did make $ 1.82 in GOOG and $ 1.20 in SNDK. 11 cents in MCHP. Got out a little early.
I made 65 cents in AAPL. Lost 9 cents in AKAM.
So 1.82-0.18-0.20+1.2+0.11+0.65-0.09=3.31.

I hope we get some action after the Fed Minutes this afternoon (or evening). It'll probably the heavy-weights that move. AMGN etc.

-Dave
Nice work - you managed to get quite a few trades in a comparatively short time. I find I just can't handle more than a couple at a time competently yet, so get quite frustrated when I see the ones I missed! I'm sure it'll come in time. ;)

1) Long entry on black line - no brainer reasons.
Exit at time of screen shot for +75
2) What happened straight afterwards - reasons micro-analysis told me the move was over BEFORE it showed on the chart .

Re-my comments on #671 about third image. Emails ONLY please.

I actually did one at a time. I can look at two to four at a time. I haven't had two positions at the same time today. Yesterday at a certain moment, I had two open postions at the same time. But usually it stays with that.

And Mr.Charts, your performance today is absolutely unbelievable. You managed to take money out of all the big movers today. Incredible. I respect you for that!

-Dave.

B-E-A-UTIFUL trade. I missed that one!.

dvh,
Nice trading, sir.
Thanks for your comment, but it's just the methods I use and my screen set-ups and routines that find them for me. It's merely the systemic approach I use.
I didn't get all the movers - I was aware of TECD, SNDK, MCHX and BCSI, but, hey, there is a limit to how many balls you can keep in the air at any time and still watch them closely !
No coaching or trading tomorrow - day off in London topped by Blondie in the evening! Shows my age ;-)
Richard

General Question for all Nasdikes
How many screens do you use and how many stocks would you normally monitor at any one time?
I find using just 1 screen (for about 10) a big drawback.

Please don't call me sir, I'm only 18. You make me feel really OLD. HAHA. LOL.
I need to get more system in finding my stocks. I make a hotlist in the morning (afternoon). And that's about it. I look at the trade-ideas scanner. But 90% of my trades are from the hotlist.
I hope the Via-Trader scanner is something useful. Because sometimes especially on the slow days, I miss out on the trades of the day. But anyway, I'll find out about that.
I'd say, have fun in London, I think you really deserved it after the last couple off days.$$$$$ka-ching!.
Have fun with blondie! LOL

Three screens for charting: 1 stock per chart.
One screen for order entry.
One screen for Briefing.com
One screen for my scanner!

And I'm thinking about buying another four.
On the NASDAQ you never have enough screens.

It looks like we all have been busy..

I got round the work problems and managed a few trades this afternoon.
KOSP +.78
WYNN -0.18 loss
SNDK +1.44

That was this afternoon, and seeing as the evening session was kind to you yesterday, I thought I'd make up for lost time.
CMED +1.06
GRMN +0.70

Total $3.80

Not a bad day :))

I took another $ 1.55 out of the market this afternoon.
So that makes 3.31+1.55=4.86.

It was a little choppy after the fed minutes.
It seems like the fed implies that they might change their policy. They said: "some caution on going too far with rates". That's a surprise. yeah, right!.
But this ain't bad news for the equity markets. So hopefully tomorrow we'll see a BIG rally. Or sidewards chop chop.
But then if there's gonna be any action, it will be in the morning (afternoon), cuz bonds are closed in the afternoon. (evening).

Everybody had a good day?

-Dave.

Wow, great day for you too. You found the movers, I've been trading the chop.
Especially that CMED trade. I saw it around 39. But I stopped watching it. Idiot I am!!
Great stuff, PitBull!!!

-Dave

Cmed

Hey PitBull,

I thank you sooooo much. HAHAH. After I read your post I looked at CMED. And it looked like it was gonna break again. So I sold it at 36 when it broke. And i took exactly 2 dollars out of it.
That makes my day complete. L-O-L!  :cheesy:

So that makes 4.86+2.00=6.86.

Thanks,

-Dave

Dave

Tell me about it!

I must never walk away after a good trade. I must stalk them to the close!!!

I went to get a cup of tea, started reading T2W and completing my journal and a quick look at CMED to work out my PnL and the thing had dropped $8.

Glad to see all you guys doing well.Been very busy recently so havent been able to contribute as much as i would have liked to.

Also thanks to all the people i met on my course on Saturday.

I launched the scanner in the US yesterday ,UK early next week i hope.

Best call and comment was the heads up on the Nasdaq morning leader ISRG
A $7 or 7% move in a straight line just straight up.
