• The West encourages and helps Ukraine to apply for NATO (aggressive ever expanding alliance) membership
• Russia warns and outlines red-lines against Ukraine NATO membership. Russia's security concerns are totally ignored by the West
• After 2014 with ongoing fighting skirmishes, Nazi batalion abuses and victimisation of Russian people in the Donbas region, in 2019 Ukraine changes consititution to join NATO
• Russia to protect her borders, security and to enforce past agreements (re: NATO not expanding) intervenes (Feb 2022) in a military operation to object to Ukraine joining. (Look up Cuban misile crises for past reference)
• This leads to an all out war as the West joins in the frenzy to supply Ukraine with weapons
• Few months later UK (Boris) and the US (Biden) persuade Zelensky to walk out of February peace talks in Istanbul, where Ukraine is offered a (very favourable peace deal imho) neutral status much like Switzerland and to apply for membership of the EU
• The West continue to supply Ukraine with all their outdated and old technology weapons, way passed their sell by date, such as tanks and discontinued fighter planes and guns. Bearing in mind the training required to use all this old technology and delivering/deploying these weapons to the front line was the bigger challenge...
• Billions of $, £s and €s donated have seemed to have found their way into purchasing luxery villas and vinyards accross Europe, UK and the US.
• Zelensky has become the richest comedian in the world (some claim to be now worth near or over $1bn).
• Now the US and UK says Ukraine owes money to the West and that we are happy to accept payment in-kind by taking over 50% of the proceeds from Ukrainian rare mineral mines.
• US has seen the light and unilaterally declared Ukraine will never be allowed into NATO and Zelensky shouldn't waste his time anylonger and simply go away.

• Similarly European countries should also remember, they can't do anything without the US who is their "true" friend and they too should simply be a good little poodle and do as they say

I think that's it. Other than ofcourse the deaths of 00s of 000s of Ukrainian and Russian people fighting for the great American National Interest. Very sad but ultimately the truth and nothing but the damn truth. There is the destruction of their country infrastructure too but that can all be replaced. Lives can not. So so very sad.

Labour's economic policies are far superior to Conservatives imho.

There is a big problem with the skewed distribution of wealth - especially in the US and UK. Economic growth is not possible if the distribution of incomes are skewed.

Basically, economic growth is not possible if the majority of people do not have money to spend.

You have to remember one person's expenditure is another person's income. So when they say we need to increase level of economic activity, it means increasing the frequency of exchange of monies between people. If majority of people do not have money and are unable to afford regular day to day and household items then no matter what one does, it's not possible to raise economic activity. FTSE 100 CEOs’ earnings for 2025 overtook the median UK worker’s full time annual salary on Monday 6 January, according to calculations by the High Pay Centre.

As with last year, the charity’s research suggested that the top CEOs had to work less than three days to surpass the annual pay of the median worker. Median FTSE 100 CEO pay (excluding pension) currently stands at £4.22 million, 113 times the median full time worker’s pay of £37,430.

Examining the pay of other high earners, it found that:

• FTSE 250 CEOs on median pay of £1.68 million only needed to work until, 9 January, for their pay to overtake the annual pay of the median UK worker;
• a partner at a “magic circle” law firm, on average pay of £2.03 million, only needed to work until 8 January;
• a partner at a “big four” accountancy firm, on average pay of £816,000, would need to work until 16 January;
• a top banker (a so-called “material risk taker”) at one of the five FTSE 100 listed banks, on average pay of £964,000, would only need to work until 15 January; and
• everyone in the top 1% of full time UK earners, making at least £162,000, will have overtaken the annual pay of the median full-time worker by 27 March.

Conservatives perpetuate this cycle. Do you remember Liz Truss's economic growth plan to borrow from taxation to cut taxes for the rich so we have "TRICKLE DOWN" growth for waiters in the hope they may receive a bigger tip.


1. Labour have made housing one of the core targets and due to inilastic supply in housing building more homes will take time but never the less will increase sooner or later in the next couple of years.

2. They have also increased minimum wage and given the salary rises many public sector workers need to live by.

3. Yes NI will have to rise to keep up with our aging population, and declining birth rates and shrinking tax base.



The Tories since Thatcher have butchered and messed up UK industry and economy for almost 30+ years. The state of public services are clear enough. Local Authorities starved of monies unable to cope.

Productivity due to lack of investment is clear enough and has been with us since the turn of the 20th century.

All tories and reform can talk about are 30,000 illegal migrants on boats, because the MSM waves it about much like a red rag to a bull. Brainless huffing and puffing and much ado about nothing IMHO.


Migration is the solution ofcourse but this will not be told to the UK public. Even Liz Truss had 300,000 migrants pencilled in and required to raise GDP growth by 1%. They are all freaking liars. That's why Tories talk tough whilst continue raising migrant worker numbers because it is where the growth comes from.

Sadly, labour will do nothing to fix the problem because they are no longer the champions of the less well off in society - let alone those living in abject poverty. Amazing what we are seeing. Usually these shenanigans are played out behind closed doors in diplomatic circles and horse trading under negotiation tables. Now it's in front of the WWWeb and cameras.

The US has clearly played a very cleverl hand to Ukraine and Europe, effectively screwing them over. Zelensky I never liked and always thought of as a short arse, stooge puppet put there for a reason. He is neither a politicians, smart or a visionary. Has no leadership skills. Always thought his clothing attire was much like a yob wearing a shell suit to meet the King.

Amazing how everyone has stopped talking about Putin and started talking about Trump and Zelensky.

In actual reality this is all about NATO expansion. Fruitless useless war other than to the dogs of war.

I'm expecting a better response from Friedrich Merz the new German leader but thus far his regurgitating the old clap-trap, Olaf Scholz's dribble.

UK is going to be walking a middle ground tight rope trying to appease Trump but should now be waking up to their unreliable partners behaviour.

Personally, as long as the war and killing stops and Europe gets back onto friendly terms and focusing on trade, I'd be well and trully happy.


Lessons to be drawn from all this;

1. Ukrainian interests are better served being neutral like Switzerland and becoming member of EU, whilst drawing nearer to their old bretheren, the Russians. One should always aim for good relations with ones neighbours.

2. Taiwan should realise uncle Sam is a dodgy unreliable partner and her interests best served with closer alliance with China.

3. Europe should focus on maintaining peace and trade and avoid partnering with any waring factions. Russia is not a thread to Europe.
