Well this was obvious to me from the start. I have no idea why or how the strategic European thinkers could not see this.

Zelensky and Ukraine likewise. Zelensky should have said no to NATO membership and ruled it out. Taken the Swiss Neutral option and maintain good ties with Russia obviously and carried on with EU integration.

I have no idea how other people do not see that Russia and EU were SOOOOO so very strong together in alliance. The US have really fucked up the EU and Ukraine as well as giving Russia a big headache.

Now the strategic place and focus is turning to China. Trump is given so much credit but he is simply a catalyst shit stirrer to maximise US gains and his own wealth.

Right now US will be and is offering Russia all kinds of horse trade deals under the table about how they can devide Ukraine in exchange for raping it of mineral and raw resources, excluding any deals with China.

I do hope Russia does not fall for it as I see the US as just one big power hungry beast devouring all other national interest in favour of her own. This is not how one conducts international trade or business. There are ways to achieve peace and win win scenarios. Sadly, I do not see it coming from the US.

As for NATO spending of 5% GDP, well all that money will predominantly go to US arms / weapons manufacturers. The F35 is a big black hole swalling up money, considering the next war is largely to be fought with droids costing millions as opposed to billions / trillion.

European nations - especially Germany should now be smelling the coffee with shit all over face. Wakey wakey.

Most of all though Zelensky is such an arse hole. His been well and trully buggered by uncle Sam. I hope he is made to account for what he has turned Ukraine into.

As mentioned before US is angling to stop China from tapping into these resources.

The normal course of events would be for these countries to buy these rare commodities on the international market by bidding for them and thus determining a fair price. All other participants would then have an equal playing field and Ukraine benefiting most from best pricing.

Instead we have these clandestine proxy wars and manipulations to further US national interests at the expense of all other nations in the rest of the world. Death and destructions with US war dogs benefitting from war and booties in horse trading to reach so called peace in Western nations terms.

According to multiple media reports, the deal outlines that Washington would receive a 50% stake in Ukraine’s rare earth minerals as compensation for the American aid. On Saturday, the Financial Times reported, citing people familiar with the negotiations, that Ukraine had rejected the bid, citing the lack of security guarantees.

According to Ukraine’s Institute of Geology, the country’s deposits include lanthanum, cerium, neodymium, erbium and yttrium. However, Zelensky recently admitted that a large chunk of Ukraine’s mineral-rich territories, some 20%, is currently under Russian control.

NBC reported on Saturday, citing unnamed officials, that the White House could send troops to guard Ukraine’s rare earth minerals. The deployment of military forces could reportedly come after Russia and Ukraine reached a deal to end the ongoing conflict.

Reade said the reported troop deployment is unlikely. “There’s a will for there to be a different relationship with Russia.” She highlighted that US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth had said definitively “that there would be no US troops in Ukraine” and “US involvement in providing money and weapons was going to end.”
