The problem with financing wars and military expenditure which is not productive to humanity, is eventually it weakens any country that is fighting wars. Even if those wars are simply proxy wars.

US wasted trillions in Iraq invasion. One has to ask if all that expenditure and investment rebuilding Iraq was worth the effort? Wars for the US becoming dubious expenditures with no certainty of booty to compensate.

Senators will begin to ask. They may well be financed by lobby groups but ultimately, if majority of US middle incomes start feeling the pinch they will vote and look elsewhere for solutions.

The dollar is pretty useless as a safe haven. Whenever I hear that I laugh at the stupidity of the term. If the US doesn't change direction and in another 20 years it'll either start a big war which no side can win or suffer by a thousand budget defecits until it becomes like Argentina, ready to relinquish it's currency and adopt another?

Yes that is another thorn on US's side. Corporations rule America and there is no real democracy to represent people.

However, even those big corporations outside the defence industries will realise the loss of disposable incomes and earnings impacting their profits, leading them to turn on the likes of Lockheed. The US with their cowboy mentality, can quickly turn on each other if their interests collide.

Much like the West India company, wars are simply business, money matters and self interest. I don't think any war is really fought for the freedom or liberation of any people or principal. That's just tosh for the common people to feel good about.



As before Ukraine had the choice to be like Switzerland be neutral and join the EU. What did their corrupted and bribed so called elected leaders do?

Zelensky the comedian representing people, chose to pocket millions of $ollars in bribes and join that forever expanding military war machine NATO (aka defensive alliance) .

He disposes his advisers and generals like used condoms.

Interesting how there are no news articles on what the Ukrainian people think or want.
