Nigel Farage was thinking of making a new party.
Can you suggest a suitable name ?
The New Socialist party as opposed to the Union dominated one led by Corbychov perhaps ?

I thought that most of the lip readers are saying that he did say "stupid woman" - I'm no lipreader either but it didn't look like "people" when I watched it as it happened. Having trounced the PM she put on one of her silly smiles and started a rant totally unconnected with the exchange. It looked to me as if Corbyn was thinking out aloud.

Whatever .............. in this day and age of Political Correctness and Snowflakes he took the soft way out and pretended not to have said it. The trouble with both Theresa and Jezza is that their normal practice is to say the opposite of what they actually think or believe in. That BBC link doesn't convince me of his "innocence".

But hey! – The Feminist and PC brigade have just got it wrong – here we are on the brink of a complete Brexit dog's breakfast and we are treated to a couple of third-rate politicians slagging each other off.

The problem today is that you're not allowed to say what you think; a lot of what people do say is just not true but is allowed to go unchallenged; and a lot of refutations are based on racial and feminist propaganda. But it doesn't matter, it's just like the markets: say what you like but you can't buck it & it's the same with the truth – it will always come out in the end even though the journey can be very painful.
 
At first I thought it looks like he said woman. Watching him talk when he says he said stupid people is also possible. Turn volume down and watch it again but imagine him saying stupid woman when his saying people. Looks the same. Tough one!

decent people have all given up the yucky political scene long ago.
Scum floats to the top as they bully their way up.
Corbyn is no gentleman and is just trying to humiliate the PM.
Good ideas for running this country are pushed aside unfortunately.

Agreed. I fear that the disgust at the main parties' recent antics will just continue to propel people towards single issue parties and parties with very left or very right agendas. That's what caused the rise of UKIP, Trump, Le Pen and the rest. British democracy will be the loser.
 
I would like to see a new political party be formed. Perhaps calling itself " The Progressive Party ".
With new ideas and new faces.
Even update the Parliamentary system. Cherry picking the best of the best systems and a fair deal for everyone.

Problem with the word ‘progressive’ is that it is already used by the left, connotations of political correctness and progressive socialism (Marxism) spring to mind, eugh no thanks, change the name.

Trouble is there would be a conflict of interest, with British troops embedded in the EU gendarmerie on the EU side and UK Border guards on the other, regardless of Brexit (ooops wrong thread) :)

I've got to say I think he says stupid people not stupid woman but even if he did call her a stupid woman, so what?! It's what a large proportion of the voting public think anyway...
I'm totally not understanding how it's sexist... would it be sexist if he was called a stupid man? End of the day she's a woman and she's very very stupid.... and she dances terribly.

Yes she's a woman, yes its no doubt his opinion she is stupid. But you are the one who fails to see the reality here.

The addition of "woman" to "stupid" makes this a sexist and misogynistic comment. If you think I'm wrong, ask Jeremy Corbyn. Even the man himself said it would have been sexist and misogynistic if he had called her a "stupid woman". So I guess therefore if you don't see why it would be wrong, you should contact him for further advice. Or any woman with whom you are on speaking terms.

That's a bit transphobic isn't it, do you know for sure that comrade Corbyn is a man? Has he openly declared his gender?
