Personally I think a reduction in leverage/increase in margin would be a good thing - just not quite by some of the scary levels they are suggesting.

Binary options were never a good idea so good riddance - IG actually stopped giving new customers access to them nearly a year ago in preparation.

Stopping retail investors hedging (buy & sell on the same instrument) seems non-nonsensical to me - only advanced traders would ever use that option anyway so why punish them?

After having said all the above that I trade CFDs through a corporate account so I don't believe it will affect me anyway... :smart:
@inzimam as a premium client I hope you suggested to your IG account manager that he/she take you(+missus!) for an expensive steak dinner so you discuss your account
