Found this link while searching for trade2win issues when I couldn't get connected so it's not like it's buried anywhere special. It's right up there for all to see on the first page of results. Not that I'm sayin it's this chap of course.

Which victim? The nutter who wrote the report or you, the subject of the report?

Unable to edit a post

Just tried to edit a post to remove a typo and there was no edit facility.

Is this as a result of the DDoS attack?

We were hit by another heavy DDoS attack this morning, but whilst the attack continues, we've managed to defend ourselves from it. I'll post a separate thread explaining what happened.

I plan on removing a couple of features that are rarely used on the site:

- Friends List (this won't affect Contacts or tue Ignore List)
- Photo Albums

T2W Bot had a bit of a short circuit today, but we're rewiring him as I speak.

If you mention the username of another member in a post, and remember to add a @ before their username (same way it works on twitter) they'll get an email alert about the post. For example including "@sharky" in a post would alert me to it.

Later this week, we'll roll out a way for you to optionally turn off the email alerts (when you're quoted or mentioned).

Hey @Sharky if I use the @Sharky thing more than once in a post that @Sharky has posted, will @Sharky get more than one email at @Sharky or just the one email at @Sharky? And if in addition to @Sharky I include another member @random, will they also get an email alert @Sharky and be quite @baffled?

Ummmm (checks inbox).... so it's once per post, but can be multiple posts per thread.

If however you've got a space in your name, then you need to add a semicolon to the end of the username. eg. @Pat Riley;

Haha, don't worry we'll have a way to turn off the emails by end of this week.

Just a heads-up, I've re-enabled the friends list. Sonicscooter made a fair point that it was actually quite insightful to see who was friends with who on the site via the member profile page.

I've added back the old For Sale & Wanted forum and moved related threads into it.

I think every community should have an easy way to buy and sell stuff, and now there's a forum dedicated to it (again!)
