Boston Scientific (BSX) raised its full year guidance after reporting strong second quarter results. Barrick?Gold (ABX) reported an adjusted profit for the second quarter that was in line with estimates.
 
NETGEAR's (NTGR) second quarter results were ahead of estimates and its third quarter revenue guidance was in line. Knight Transportation (KNX) reported above-consensus earnings for its second quarter but its revenues were light.
 
Marriott International (MAR) reported better than expected second quarter adjusted earnings per share and revenues. InterActive's(IAC) second quarter adjusted earnings and revenues were above estimates.
 
Stock Analysis 1st-5th (August)

TNA has rallied over $20 in a month. Continue to expect big moves in 2016 and beyond. TNA remains the best trading stock in the market right now. This is the second time I predicted a move from the $50's to my $70 price target. This is also why all major dips for the rest of 2016 are a strong buy.
 
TSLA rising back up near $230 ahead of earnings. Tesla (TSLA) is a strong buy below $200 going forward.
 
China 3x Bull ETF (YINN) is finally pulling back into the $15's. YINN will now have resistance located at $17 going forward.
 
Cubic (CUB +0.20%) was upgraded to 'Buy' from 'Hold' at Needham & Co. First Business Financial Services (FBIZ -3.15%) was downgraded to 'Hold' from 'Buy' at Sandler O'Neill.
 
GNC Holdings (GNC +0.64%) was downgraded to 'Neutral' from 'Outperform' at Wedbush. Leggett & Platt (LEG -3.59%) was downgraded to 'Market Perform' from 'Outperform' at Raymond James.
 
Harley-Davidson (HOG +3.74%) was upgraded to 'Outperform' from 'Market Perform' at BMO Capital Markets. Deutsche Bank (DB +1.43%) scored higher in bank stress tests released last Friday than in previous years.
 
Apple (AAPL) surged back above $105 on Tuesday after a strong earnings report. Resistance will be located up at $107.
 
Tesla (TSLA) is dropping back near $225. Tesla (TSLA) is a strong buy below $200 going forward.
 
Twitter (TWTR) is forming a base in the mid $16's right now. The stock will trade in a range but see another pre earnings rally in about two months.
 
American International Group (AIG -0.13%) gained over 2% in pre-market trading after it reported Q2 operating EPS of 98 cents, higher than consensus of 92 cents, and then said it will add up to $3 billion to its stock buyback plan.
 
Oclaro (OCLR -3.99%) rose over 9% in after-hours trading after it reported Q4 adjusted EPS of 11 cents, better than consensus of 6 cents, and then forecast Q1 revenue of $126 million-$134 million, above consensus of $118.6 million.
 
Cray (CRAY -0.92%) plunged 20% in after-hours trading after it reported a Q2 adjusted EPS loss of -29 cents, a wider loss than consensus of -2 cents, and then cut its fiscal 2016 revenue estimate to in the range of $650 million, well below consensus of $796 million.
 
Transocean Ltd. (RIG +3.98%) gained nearly 2% in after-hours trading after it reported an unexpected Q2 adjusted EPS profit of 17 cents, higher than consensus of a -2 cent loss.
 
Prudential Financial (PRU +2.95%) dropped over 2% in after-hours trading after it reported Q2 operating EPS of $1.84, well below consensus of $2.50,
 
XPO Logistics (XPO +0.87%) jumped over 10% in after-hours trading after it reported Q2 adjusted EPS of 42 cents, well above consensus of 22 cents, and then raised its full-year adjusted Ebitda view to at least $1.265 billion from a July 18 view of $1.25 billion.
 
Stock Analysis 8th-12th (August)

U.S. Concrete (USCR -4.15%) was rated a new 'Buy' at Suntrust Robinson with a price target of $75. EOG Resources (EOG +7.03%) was upgraded to 'Buy' from 'Hold' at Wunderlich Securities.
 
Wyerhaeuser (WY +0.70%) was downgraded to 'Neutral' from 'Buy' at DA Davidson. Level 3 Communications (LVLT +0.59%) was rated a new 'Buy' at BTIG with a price target of $63.
