Stock Analysis

Marvell (MRVL) reported better than expected fourth quarter non-GAAP earnings per share but its revenues missed estimates. Cintas’ (CTAS) fourth quarter results were above consensus estimates and its 2017 guidance was positive.
 
Morgan Stanley (MS) reported better than expected second quarter earnings and revenues. Halliburton (HAL) reported a second quarter loss narrower than estimates and its revenues also beat estimates. Intuitive Surgical (ISRG) reported second quarter non-GAAP earnings per share and revenues that exceeded estimates.
 
$TSLA lost confidence in Tesla after the master plan was released. Expected alot more than just solar roofs, buses n trucks n share rides. I agree with JPM price target 180 on short deliveries n lower guidance. Will short it to 8/3 n make a fortune!
 
Newmont Mining (NEM -5.07%) rose over 2% in after-hours trading after it reported Q2 sales of $2.04 billion, stronger than consensus of $1.91 billion.
 
Tractor Supply (TSCO +0.16%) slipped 2% in after-hours trading after it reported Q2 EPS of $1.16 and Q2 revenue of $1.85 billion, both right on expectations.
 
eBay (EBAY +1.85%) rallied nearly 6% in after-hours trading after it reported Q2 adjusted EPS continuing operations of 43 cents, higher than consensus of 42 cents and then added $2.5 billion to its stock buyback plan.
 
Stock Analysis 25th-29th (July)

SemiLEDs (LEDS) exploded again this week but is now pulling back again. It would appear that a dip into the $5's is a good buy.

China 3x Bull ETF (YINN) had a big run recently but is pulling back. YINN will now have resistance located at $16.30 going forward.
 
$GILD Bears, you will win today but if it's EOD price @ $85 or higher, we could see $92 @ the EOW thanks 2 Fed Reserve not raising rates.
 
$NFLX my puts are dead for now. Specially if it hits above $90 this week which is likely. Still got a month to go. Hopefully by then $80.

BJ Restaurants (BJRI) reported below-consensus earnings and revenues for its second quarter. ********** Financial's (AMP) second quarter adjusted earnings per share missed expectations.
 
Illumina's (ILMN) second quarter results exceeded estimates and the company issued upbeat guidance for the full year. Edward Lifesciences (EW) reported better than expected second quarter results and raised its full year guidance
 
Coca-Cola (KO) reported above-consensus second quarter adjusted earnings per share but its revenues missed estimates. Comcast (KO) reported above-consensus second quarter results.
 
Juniper Networks (JNPR) also reported above-consensus results for its second quarter but its third quarter guidance was weak.
 
Linear Technologies (LLTC) announced a deal to be bought by Analog Devices (ADI), with the combined company valued at about $30 billion. Analog Devices also raised its third quarter guidance.
