Software for a new trader.

Metatrader is a good,easy and reliable forex platform for any beginner.Since it is having a lot of features it looks like some difficulties at the begining. I should stick to it longer and get used to it, but a problem I have with doing that is that I need something that explains all the features of a trading program, like how to use them and what they do and mean in a simple to understand trend.

So are there any good free scanners out there? I'm not looking to drop a ton of money for one, and those are the only ones that I see that are available. $1000 or more?

TWS is free.
None of the other scanners I mentioned cost $1000 or more.

Spend some time on Stock Rover | Investing and FINVIZ.com - Stock Screener. You'll learn a tremendous amount in a short time. Stock Rover's screener is one of the best and it's currently free. There's a video of it here:

Some people really like Finviz too, although I'm not wild about it. There's a video of its screener here

I believe these will help out a lot. I haven't looked at it really had yet but it looks like this will be great!!
