Actually this is my wife's laptop so i don't use it often. System restore (without uninstalling SP2 first) to the day before I installed SP2 has corrected the screen problem.
Now, does that mean it has uninstalled SP2 and all it's "new stuff", or has it kept it but just restored the setting?
