Don't push your luck , and I ain't gonna go to that level.Drawdowns resulted in many traders following their breakout systems/set ups , and also their hard earned cash in thousands of dollars , besides coughing up for the systems that did not work.

I am doing it right now on a six figure account live and making money.It does not have be done your way.I have done the school of developing systems and set ups, and done my time on everything including testing and trading live accounts.There are a hundred ways to skin a cat.

Yesterday I had 30 trades on euro /usd , got into a drawdown of 90 pips ,recovered it and ended the day profitably by 40 pips.Yesterday was a difficult day and I got caught on the wrong side of the market.

Discretion is my discretion on when and how to apply systems ,set ups, contrarian counter trend trades and betting sequences.

I can beat the market everyday, if I trade aggressively.

I did .Some snake oil merchant gave a free system that led to a few account blowouts in thousands of dollars, not merely just drawdowns.Drawdowns were expected right until they blew up their accounts.

what ODT said is, if you do manual trading and you're good, then there should be no drawdowns at the end of the day.

this is my point. he thinks he can win everyday with manual trading.
 
If you're in profit each and every day,..I wouldn't call that a draw down!
From my perspective, a draw down is an unusual run of losses resulting in a significant loss on the account.
Some one please clarify,..

ODT, I'm really not sure why you invite/go out of your way to be a magnet for such constant attacks...it's not that you're deliberately provocative, but you're attempting to make things 'fly verbally' which experienced and or successful traders will immediately spot as deeply flawed...
Hope you get your head sorted buddy...I hate witnessing what you put yourself through on here...can't be good for your trading well-being...
 
Even "medbs the great" experienced a wee bit of drawdown. And certainly he was the most professional, ethical trader I've met on here. If such titans of trading as "medbs the great" cannot avoid a few pips drawdown then I've got no shot at making it to the great trading hall of fame someday. 🙁

It is actually quite healthy for trading , the opinions challenge the trader to be on the toes. Successful traders do it in their own ways , but there are other ways and probably more profitable ways of trading.

I am past listening to the BS of making zero pips and yet being highly profitable through betting methods is silly.I will settle for anything that gives me consistent profits regularly,than be the perfect trader .If I lose 20 pips daily ,yet make more money without a losing day , I will settle for it.

Trading is risky business and most of you are under the blinkers , that trend trading or this or that form of trading can be less risky.It is all risky whichever way one trades,so what if I lose 100 pips, am I to live in fear and greed?I lose a hundred pips , I will make two hundred whilst all the turtles are waiting for their perfect trends.

Trading trends is the only way to trade is B S.It is just one way of trading.Don't be under the illusion this isn't a casino .At least give me credit for accepting this is a casino and I am betting red or black all day.When you need to tighten your screws , let me know and I will lend you the spanner.

Winning football is about scoring goals, if the opponent gets two , we go for five.The fear and greed merchants will get defensive after letting one go past, instead of using aggression to get 5 past the opponent.

Having stated my views , I still aim for net pips profit daily.

Another profitable day caught in a low volatility day of only 60 pips .45 pips profit today scalping euro usd .

Yeah profit is possible everyday.

Its irrelevant anyway, you don't need to make profits every day to be successful.
 
I've come to a decision that these internet marketers sell their wherewithals only because they cannot trade. After all, why would they want to sell something for $300, when you could make that on a 30-pip trade with only one lot? Any trader of success should be able to do that without hardly thinking about it on a daily basis. There is no reason to sell the entire aresenal behind your methodology for a pittance if you did not stink the joint up with your personal trading.
Even the starter of this thread has spammed a bunch of cut and pastes.
