Price Action Trading

I am wanting to learn more about PA trading. I don't understand what exactly this actually en tales.. I have noticed the course from Nial Fuller but I also found another one by a John Templeton, trading in the buff and he also has a Price action trading course. Has anyone actually tried anything from John Templeton?

Now before anyone goes accusing me of SPAM.... I am merely asking the question as I am looking at buying one or the other.
Also is anyone currently trading using just PA and can help me learn this by recommending journals or certain threads that I could read for free. thanks

Hi, I recently became active in this forum again after being gone for a long time. I can tell you that I am a member of Nial Fuller's price action trading community and I think it's a pretty good deal overall. He has a very good course and the members' support is good, plus he adds members' articles sometimes that explain specific course concepts more in-depth. I have no tried John Templeton, but after joining up with Nial and learning his strategies, I didn't feel the need to go anywhere else.

Didn't see you as a J16 supporter!

Yea, I guess you are either one or the other. I like Nial Fuller's style a lot better. Plus his website (member's area) organized a lot better than j16. I joined J16 a few years ago and I paid like $900 or something, at that time it was like $140 or something every month then you got it for free after doing that for a year. It was far cheaper to just get Nial's course and get lifetime access and all the support / updates he provides. My 2 cents. :)

I see a pin bar at the yellow arrow...this one could lead to a substantial drop lower...

Can you tell me what I would get from the forum that I can't find elsewhere?

In itself, no. That you use a MA level, as I and many do, as a visual level at which to enter is another thing.

I responded a couple days ago to your question but I had a link in the response so apparently they didn't post it.

You get more than just the discussion forum. There is a whole host of other things like daily members' commentary, member's articles and videos that are added to sometimes, email support, and of course all his trading courses. Very good value in my opinion.

These are the sources which I am currently investigating. I have only got as far as the first 3 on the list, and they're good, but I can't make any comment on the last 3. I might remove them from my sources if they are rubbish.

Some of them are certainly geared up for selling their knowledge, which obviously begs the question of how good the material is if they concentrate so much on selling it. Should be concentrating on trading imo - so they might be fallling into the bracket of "can't do it, so teach it". Obviously just my subjective opinion.

As far as I can tell, "price action trading" can mean different things to different people. Anybody got any definitions?

I also would like to say that I've check out Al Brooks and some of the others, and they seem pretty legit. I've also learned quite a bit from Nial Fuller, I think both Brooks and Fuller are traders, from what I gather. Fuller has a pretty good article on price action trading here: http://www.learntotradethemarket.com/price-action-trading-forex, I think from what I have seen that both Brooks and Fuller are genuine, I've learned a little from the others in your list too and I see some value there. Cool.

Pretty nice and large pin bar on the CADJPY daily chart below...these are the pin bars that literally tell you to trade them or you're stupid...:)

Here's another good pin bar. This one I found from reading Nial Fuller's daily trade setups commentary. Let's all see if it comes off or not now...

I haven't been around this thread in a while, it looks pretty dead though. How is everyone doing with price action? Anyone want to get this thread going again with me?
