Zambuck is on a very sticky wicket. The sites guidelines quite clearly state that members should not post materials of a pornographic nature, and members might therefore assume anyone in violation would be dealt with harshly.
The problem is that an ex member violating these guidelines was banned by a moderator. That moderator gave his time on a voluntary basis for the good of the community, and implimented rules that are clear and consise.
However the moderators decision was over-ruled by a paid member of T2W staff, and the member was reinstated.
Despite Zambuck's indignation, the reality of the situation is this: A precedant has been set, and the management of the site are happy to override rules relating to the posting of offensive materials, if its in the commercial interest of the site, and thats EXACTLY how it should be.
Lets not forget, the majority of the membership who expressed an opinion took a negative view of that decision, it was the site's management who decided that posting pornograpic images was aceptable behaviour.
Its therefore impossible for a moderator to hold the moral high ground on this issue given the sites history
