I tried this system. I found the time frame so long that I lost interest. I like something I can update at least monthly. Every two weeks is even better. You have to be preety determined to wait months and months to find out how the strategy is going to work. The 20% may be a 50-70 year average with some very good years in there (and some pretty poor ones).

other free systems

I don't get over here much but just wanted to mention a couple free systems at yahoo groups...druster and druster.q

the signals come from thestockowl group there.

I established the mvpsignalsystem group to document real time mvp trades.

Since we talked last I have added a lot of new code to mvp, based on shorter term trades; so that is what I now use again.

My results are not as high as what merlins backtest shows but mvp's ups and downs are easier to live with (for me anyway)
