Just had a quick look at that trading trends log.

Don't know what pboyles in on about - looks like he's doing quite well with automation.

He has a link on his blog to a Spread Bet magazine and can see he's a contributor there. http://www.spreadbetmagazine.com/about/ . The magazine is well known in the SB world and so I guess he must be doing something right.

But yea, don't know what happened with him and LST.

He removed his live trading results from the blog a month or two back, he was -50% on one account and -25% on the other in his last update. In fact he posted recently saying he was still losing money.

None of these companies are able to teach you to trade successfully. They are all a waste of time and money. Some may make a genuine effort, others will take your money and disappear, either way your money will be gone.

Iamnev took down his results page. The last update was that he had lost 50% of one account and 25% of another.

These guys and others like them are not the answer.

ok thanks but this is much of the same stuff i read in this 25 page thread mate.. If they do not deliver results what training and material can you recommend than? i like the idea of a real perso going through the charts with me and explaining in real time whats going on ect..

I wouldn't recommend paying for any training, the guys that are selling trading generally cant make money trading. I'm not totally convinced about this but you could probably do worse than looking at the james16 thread on forexfactory. He has a paid website which isn't really worth it as most of the stuff is available for free. Certainly that's better than paying some chancers 3 or 4k for the same thing or less.

The reality is that there is no easy solution to learning. It might take you a couple of years or you might never make money. That's just how it is I'm afraid.

If you want to learn you should seek out profitable traders in your locality and try and meet up with them, these people reside at prop firms or tend to play a lone hand from home. DO NOT give your money to people selling training/vendors you will become locked in a negative feedback loop of 2 steps back 1 step forward which could last years and could cost you a lot of money or something worse.

put simply this is a profession where you are pitted against the best minds in the world, on top of that you will have to start when you are paying retails commissions which are typically 10 times that of a pro trader.

We would like to offer you the chance to receive 100% of your training fee back or a permanent increase of your trading commissions to 80%, provided you have 4,000 GBP in your trading account before the end of your first 4 months with London Stone Trading.

Wrong, way wrong. First of all the training fee is £2937 plus VAT, so about £3500. They say you can pay in instalments but that's what the fee is costing you.

They say they will give you this fee back if you have £4000 in your account after 4 months. What they don't say is what size your account is to start with and how much you will have to make to have £4000 in your account. However we know that iamnev started with about £1300 in his live account.

Using this an example and bearing in mind they take 50% of your profits you would need to make £5400 profit on your £1300 account in 3 months (your first month being on a demo account).

What that means is that you would need to make about 410% profit in 3 months to reach this point. Looking at the example of iamnev he has only been losing money on this same program. What chance do you think you can make over 400% in your first three months? I'll tell you, there is absolutely zero chance of you making anything.

Forgetting about the money back gimmick how long will it take you to even recover your initial fees? You pay £3500, you get a £1300 account. In order to break even (bearing in mind they take 50% of profits) you will need to make £4400, or about 330%.

None of this is going to happen and you will be wasting your money getting involved with any of these pay to learn companies.

Think of all the professions where your expectations of earning a good wage are high. Then do some research into how much it will cost you to learn that profession to a point of being qualified, competant and worthy of that wage. None of the professions that I can think of can be learned in a few months or a few years to the point where I could go out and say I was a ___ (fill in the blank).

Learning to trade is learning a life skill, it doesn't happen over night and you get out what you put in. It is a lot easier if you have a mentor.

The T2W troll is great at saying what not to do but he has no answers of what to do. He is a failed trader and all ways will be.
He sits in his pants eating fried chicken spamming over these boards. Like all the other trolls on all the other forums.

You'll have to do your own research and it should start far far away from t2w.

This is my last post on this thread as there is nothing more to say... I'm very very happy with my decision to have gone with LST.

Thank your for your response ,but for me the training in program is enough for me to prepare me for the STA diploma.however is there a limiting time for tarring this 1400 pounds in live account .for example can I trade for 3 years in the account and then withdraw in case I make money.And what do they mean they will also have Te ability to trade with our funds all

I'm not sure what you are asking. If you want the STA Diploma you can do a home study course for £495 from STA rather than spend £3500.

Apart from Prop Trader where you can claim it immediately after paying some outfit £3500.

So as far as I am concerned I am legaly , bindingly, and actively trading money that now belongs to London Stone Trading. Which makes me a Proprietary Trader.

So prop trader is the easiest job in the world to get. You pay someone £3500, they put £1400 of that into a trading account for you and bang, you're a prop trader.

I think why they are saying is you can trade your account for as long as you want. They are not going to give you £1400 every month.

Hi, I have joined a little while back (identity hidden for obvious reasons) and can confirm they are useless, there strategies dont work and he makes money from the novices who havent got a clue....success rate it rubbish also...i invested and a waste of money...once you give you money you dont get any customer service and he runs it like a cow boy....take it from me...more information in buying a book for £20 , then to do any of his courses...i learnt the hard way

Trust me, im not slagging londonstonetrading for the sake of it, ive had experience. FSA registered is londonstonesecruities, but if something went wrong, londonstonetrading are not liable for anything under the FSA registered number as they themselves are not regulated, so you cant get any money from them if you parted with yours and they fell in deep sh*t excuse my french. I have had first hand experience...ill give it to him, the main guy is good at talking, but you will never make your money back on any trading accoutn he gives you as firstly the startegies are not designed to make money month after month, he also gives very little if at all to company funds and unless your a star trader (in which case you wouldnt join londonstone, then you throwing money away....

Yep, if you want to get fingers burnt properly...then go to londonstonetrading ltd....the owner is a sharlatan...talks a good game, but has terrible startegies...my fingers have been burnt with him...first hand experience....takes your money...and then dont get whats promised
