Best Thread Live Cable Trading

The news was mixed. A bad GDP number, but also some data (GDP deflator) which told about more inflation. I think the last part will maybe stop the dollar to go more down - otherwise we could have seen a 200 pips move today.

Yes, a good website for eco freaks (news traders) like myself.

Any better places for news such as that which just happened. Forex Factory is a bit slow at updating. Preferably free.................which is nice.

droog,

1. Bloomberg radio (listen on the net) or Bloomberg TV.
2. Get a broker with free newswires (I got 4 with Saxo Bank).
3. The best: Rent a Bloomberg terminal.

It would be interesting to overlay the cams on your years' worth of daily data and see if (on the days it entered the L3-l4 and/or H3-H4 areas)... how often a break either way proved profitable.

Kaffee,

have been trying to prove / disprove hans123 at the moment, to see if system valid from Jan 2005 to current. ( only cable trades, not euro )

Then, yes, cam-pivs are on my to-do list.

will keep you informed.

I dont know Chris, but 682 is the next target

Good to see that the ‘short’ H $ S setup and target posted yesterday played out as anticipated…..

Target hit and more downside now, but an object lesson in the need to close out before big numbers like at 13.30 / 15.00 today or risk being whipsawed, while the target is hit later… ;)
