Have bought shares in Itonis and Paco Oil and Gas. Looks like I ave been conned. The latest was Widwood management. Have all the details but suspect this is also a scam. I was introduced to these cpmpanies by an Alex Winter from Jupiter Capital Research . Apparently this is not a registered cdompany in Spain and is probably operating illegally. Beware!

Maybe next time you'll do your due diligence first and investing after, you'll find you'll be more financially better off.

Thanks for the advice! After scrolling through this site it appears a good deal of people have also been conned. Do these people use aliases? Jupiter Capital research was or is operating from Madrid, or so I was left to believe. Surely some of these fraudsters can be tracked down by the authorities in Spain as they are not a registerd company.

Hi Nigel i'm a newbie as well, I also have been conned with paco oil, wildwood, and American Alternate Energy, I was introduced by a guy called Mark Katz from Investors Management Services based in Switzerland. This site has helped me because although this is my first post I feel that I'm not alone as there is quite a few who have been dubbed.. I lost £10,000 and man am I mad...Like you I feel that sureley there is something we could do, these people are scum and need to be stopped

This site has helped me because although this is my first post I feel that I'm not alone as there is quite a few who have been dubbed.. I lost £10,000 and man am I mad...Like you I feel that sureley there is something we could do, these people are scum and need to be stopped

Mad! That's an understatement. Smooth talking b.........s. Identifying these fraudsters is the next task. Surely some voice recognition programme could be used to identify these animals. Does anyone know the best organisation to contact? I have contacted trading standards(international section) and heard nothing so far.

I did do a little research on this Paco company before I bought anything, and stupidly I still went ahead and invested.. left feeling like a complete moron now that I've spent the last 3 weeks trying to get in touch with someone from IMS with no luck whatsoever.

However, today I was contacted by Hugo Neu Corp. Mergers & Acquisitions equiring if I was still a holder of Itonis. They say they are involved with a third part who is interested in purchasing all the outstanding shares at approx $2 per share.

Does anyone know of these people?
If so do you regard them as a reputable company?

James Mclaren has phoned me about 3 times already and wants to sell me Taco shares. Hes says he is from Western Capital Trading, but he sounds like an american. His voice is of someone about 30 odd yrs. He is talking about $2-90 for the shares in the USA but 3-50 Euros in Germany.

Suggest you ask them about Paco's current production of about 30 barrels per day...

Or better yet, just hang up on them.

Hi, my name is Mike and my advice is to thoroughly research the methods of Boiler rooms, including their 'After Sales' tactics.

What a Boiler room may do after selling you worthless shares is to call you from another table and offer you a way to sell the shares.

They already have you profiled as someone who can be persuaded to part with money on the basis of telephone conversations.

You could decide to go along just because of the 0.0001% chance that you will sell the shares, it is however very likely that at some point you will be asked to send significant funds to release the restrictions, pay commisions etc.

cold call = 99% scam

All boiler rooms cold call.

It is illegal in most countries to cold call and sollicite an investment so registered/traceable brokers do not cold call.

Better odds at the nearest casino.

They can call themselves whatever they like and who they like. Whether anyone's heard of them before or not is irrelevant. Stop now and dont get suckered in to by good deals that will make you easy money.

Give it up and move on, your one of the ones thats got away.

I too am in the same position, the a......e who conned me was a guy called Scott Bates from IMS. At one point I got cold feet and rescinded the funds, but by then I had the first certs sent direct from Texas via FedEx so bought some more. However i saw the light when they asked me for more money to cash them in, so at least rescued some of my hard earned cash
I have a guy from Williams de Broe on the case. Not sure it is all over yet. Must be patient. It might warrant atrip to Texas and alng wait after the 144 period has elapsed.

There's a connection here, as I think quite a few people have realised.

If a stock's genuinely worth buying it doesn't need people making cold calls to push it. QED.
