not gonna read the whole thread, but has the big wuss who finds the picture offensive been named and shamed yet?

Some newbie from across the pond sent me a PM - basically quoting the title of this thread.

Obviously i couldn't name/shame, as that wouldn't be right. I respect their right to have their view.

I have had 22 private messages from newbies asking where to learn trading in the last week. I don't care about the porn but this is apparently a trading forum and whilst it may no be worse than a trading floor, at least they talk trading too. 90% of the traffic on this 'trading' website has been about porn and saunas. Change the title of the website and it would all be fine. Advertise it as a place to learn trading and it will continue to become a larger laughing stock than it already is.

so what r u doing here. R U hoping it will change the foyer will become a much smaller part of proceedings and that all the talk will be about pinbars, ADR and stochastics?

The fact is there are novices & experienced members. Experienced members know what they are doing, and may not want to spill their edge in public, but still appreciate membership to a community that is broadly trading related. Foyer/off-topic (but still educational, stimulating, and interesting debate) tends to form a large part of the chat for these members.
I'm sure its similar on a trading arcade. The experienced traders with years of discussing trading, may well rather talk about any topic but trading to pass the time, rather than pinbars etc. As tenapenny says - "all work & no paly...." Knowone wnats to discuss shop all day - and the foyer is here to facilitate & enable such stuff.

I'm sure you are aware of other trading websites where the focus of discussion topics is a higher % trading related.............

Yes! JTrader and others, seem determined turn this site into a poor relation to facebook. Soon we'll be discussing which spot cream is most effective.

The foyer is for off-topic stuff. It seems a bit of a case of sour grapes. Perhaps you dont have a plan that works, and resent those who feel free & have the energy & mentality for discussing other matters, and expanding their knowledge bases.

Anyway, hedgehog, rols you're derailing this thread, anymore, and i'll ask if you can be deported!

Oh, and by the way, wherever i post, i facilitate & enable discussion, either by presenting views or information, or asking the key questions - for the benefit of not just me.
I don't show you my plan/edge inside out, as that is mine, and is subject to change/discretion, but few do. But its probably crap anyway, right.

Frankly, it is the first time that my attention has been drawn to it. In my day ladies wore knickers and the Monday morning washing line was a sight (or site?) for sore eyes. IMO, you can't beat a pair of well-filled knickers, the ones with the elastic on the legs.

Well, she obviously doesn't feel uncomfortable or conscious about her body....so why should i? In fact i'd like to get a bit more comfortable with her body, i'm sure parts of my body would become conscious of it.

Well i like the new "eagle eye" tbh. Kind of symbolises what i need as a trader. A minor re-invention!
Bikini clad babes went well with the jAMAICAN culture. Things are a little different up here in Iceland though!

An eagle is too common?

When Gateway computers came out with a COW logo back in the 90s I thought it was great logo. At the time Esso had the tiger and all these big strong powerful animals to represent the company. But that black and white logo is one of the most memorable imo.

TO YOU I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND A PENGUIN. EVERYBODY LOVES PENGUINS.
Penguins love Iceland too I'm sure... :clap:

No I'm happy with the Golden Eagle thnaks. They're not that common, they are majestic, and they are the best bird in the world. I've actually held a fully grown Golden Eagle. On my arm, i was wearing the leather thingy. They are huge, and heavy, but truly awesome looking things. I've also seen them circling high in the sky, up in the Higlhands.

Anyways, it dont look like the crash is going to materialise this morning so i'll just concentrate on milking eurusd back & forth for as many pips as possible...
