I go swimming once a week in a place where they have a nice pool, and some 15 or so different saunas, and, hey, what can one say, of course a lot of pretty naked girls adds a zing, but again, its all perfectly well behaved with absolutely no assholes pushing themselves on others who aren't interested being tolerated, and people don't stare either, you have families going there with their kids,you have singles, couples, old, young, the whole bag, and, again like everywhere on this planet where you have two people who are mutually attracted, there will be people starting conversations, and where that ends up is then obviously up to them.

Yes i can imagine how idiots who stepped out of line would soon be outcast.
And it wouldn't be much fun creeping some poor bird out anyway.

As you say, i can imagine there being a zing, which is only natural as that is what humans are programmed to be - attacted.....(but you'd have to ignore this ).

Nudists claim that they do it as they like being naked & at one with nature. But i reckon a part, for a minority at least is they like seeing other people naked also (& being seen naked)! which again, might be natural, who knows.

Yeah, they don't do pics of people naked in the sauna, I mean that'd be a bit odd what, so if they have pics of the sauna at all then sometimes peeps will be shown wrapped up in towels, but go there live and people are there as God made us.

It's just not seen as a big deal kind of thing I suppose is the best way of describing it.

It is fascinating that such big cultural differences exist between 2 societies, that are maybe only 250 miles apart from each other. I wonder how that starts....

Well, that's just the nudity in saunas hehe, let's not exagerate that, that apart I wouldn't say that there are any big differences between chatting up girls here or in the UK.

Most liberal place I know RE boy / girl things is definitely Scandinavia.

Japan is very liberal too in that regard, but there is definitely a somewhat, hmm, kinky, to put it politely, side to things there, bit different to what'd be considered, err, let's say usual, lol, here, umm, to leave it at that.

It really is a big cultural difference between Germany/Europe and the UK (with its Americanised, sex orientated media led culture).
In the UK, with binge drinking, & some peoples goals to get off with a different person every friday & saturday nights, girls going out on the town dressed in a pair of knickers a bra & suspenders, new lapdance bars opening all the time in most towns, unwanted teen pregnancies etc.

Perhaps Germany is the same. However, with the UK that is so sex obsessed, it is surprising that such a prudish attitude to public nudity exists. You'd expect the UK to be very liberal, when sober also, and not just when drunk.
Whereas Germany is very liberal with nudity & sex, all the time as a matter of fact.
If germany is not so obsessed with sex, as the uk is, perhaps it is due to the germans liberal approach to nudity.
Perhaps the UK/US repressed attitude towards nudity & sex is what leads to problems.....

Repression doesn't seem a very positive thing - just look at catholic priests....

So the message in the UK/US seem to be - nudity = sex.
In Germany/Europe the message is - nudity = something quite seperate from sex.

How the viewer chooses to interpret the image, or what they associate the image with is their business, and the result of their subconscious mind/thought processes/belief system etc.

But i suspect that those who find it offensive, see the image & equate it with sex.

Those who do not find it offensive are more likely to see it as simply an image of a young womans midriff wearing bikini bottoms.

Perhaps seeing my avatar as offensive demonstrates a conscious, or unconscious acceptance of contemporary extreme parochial Christian Fundamentalist ideology/s that seem to have gained strength in some parts of the western world??

Does this incident highlight some of the very problems that are fundamental to forms of social degradation that are prevalent in modern society? If so, how?

Personally, i don't see my avatar as offensive. For me, it is anything but. I believe there is great joy to be had in viewing a fine example of the female form in a bathing costume. For me, there is only one thing better than this, and that would involve viewing the female form NOT in a bathing costume..........but thats just my opinion, and i may well be a shovanistic pig, for all i know....

I have had 22 private messages from newbies asking where to learn trading in the last week. I don't care about the porn but this is apparently a trading forum and whilst it may no be worse than a trading floor, at least they talk trading too. 90% of the traffic on this 'trading' website has been about porn and saunas. Change the title of the website and it would all be fine. Advertise it as a place to learn trading and it will continue to become a larger laughing stock than it already is.

Yes! JTrader and others, seem determined turn this site into a poor relation to facebook. Soon we'll be discussing which spot cream is most effective.
