IQ & Trading

Reggy,

I was put in remedial class untill I was 11. I used to laugh as I found all the work they gave me very easy. Still they put me down because I clowned around. I couldn't help it, I still cannot to less of a degree.

My Comprehensive school stated I showed no aptitude at Geography then I got the highest mark in the end of year exams. I was best in my year at Chemistry and History. They said I struggled at English, I got O'Level grade A for both literature and language. Yes I failed in French and RE but I thought both were an absolute waste of time so I didn't even try. In fact I deliberatley f'ed up to make a point.

My maths teacher thought I was a genius, no one else did. IQ tests have proved I am. I may have asbergers syndrome.

I ended up with an Bachelor of Science Honours degree first class in Electronic Engineering, and a BA to boot.

I had behavioural problems, not a lack of intelligence.

Schools let me down badly, I hope they have improved by the time my Children start in January especially as my son is really like his Dad.

Nice point Johnny T!

I was far too busy clowning around too!
I was also selling motorbikes (green laner's!) from the age of 12 to the other kids to make my own money.

I think some of the most important skills in life are to be street wise and also to be good at money management.

I will never understand why they dont teach money management at school or is it because they want people to get in debt the day they leave school!?

So many people about with A level this and degree that but get in a total mess with their lives.

there is an answer but its a political issue and the last time
I mentioned it, I got my wrist slapped for introducing politics.
so I mustn't talk about politics or about socialist ideology or
any of that stuff nor even refer to the lack of teaching about
financial awareness in the 6th forms.

so I wont.

Sorry, could not think what board the posts were on. I got 120, visual mathematician, whatever that means, reuters did explain, but if it was not for LOL my answers may have been different or should i say LOV( lots of vodka ). Cheers, Peedee.

To be honest, on some of the quetions who thought B******S ill go for that one, i did, maybe reuters have got minus amounts for people like me and give me a title of evolving bananna brain. Peedee.

129 - did the coconut/banana/grape issue ever get resolved? I put coconut as I thought it was "least" like the others. I did one of these in my teens/early twenties and got 145, does this mean I will have comlpetely lost my marbles in ten years???

Dun know, but i put bananna as the odd one out because i read on this site that bananna is a herb( would have put coconut really ). I personally think these kind of tests send you banannas, although they are good fun. Peedee.

Al, i really wish, and i hope im not going down the wrong road here, but banannas dont have the same effect, i wish they did. PEEEDEEE!

I have just done what, is obvious to me now, the same test as others and got 131 and am a Visual Mathematician supposedly good at recognising patterns both with pictures and numbers which I can relate to. When I looked at the emode site originally I did a different and much more in depth test.

T333, the discription of a visual mathematician seems good from a trading point of view( the big picture and all that ). Any thoughts. Peedee.

Bananas for trendlines...mmm, I like that idea  . I'll give it a try. Should give some interesting signals. Who decided trendlines should be straight? The market doesn't move in straight lines.

Oaty, sorry about the outburst the other night, i may have got the wrong end of the stick. Tim nice but dim, your probably right. Cheers, Peedee.
