Here's a suggestion Brewk. I've attached a "Market Club" chart that illustrates their Trading Triangles.
{NOTE; I am a member of this service and use it exclusively for my trading. I highly recommend them. I am not an affiliate of the service and make nothing recommending the service. Do a GOOGLE for Market club to find the service. }
I do Small Cap and Penny stocks and the triangles work great for that price range.
So, for a NOOB this is a great way to learn trading and make some cash at the same tie.

I'm sorry I didn't see your post earlier. I live in Exeter and meet up occasionally with other traders locally. To be fair, this was started by Burnley a couple of years back but I haven't seen him for a while, we occasionally meet up for lunch and a pint.

Hi Ian. welcome to T2W.The suggestion to use ThinkOrSwim is a good idea.
Go to YouTube and do search for thinkorswim and you will find many videos how how to use the program.
I've been using it for some time and it does help. I also have a trading account at TD Ameritrade, (They own ThinkorSwim) which is easy to get around. TD Ameritrade also has a $100K DEMO Acct.
I assume other nations qualify too.

I do understand how much studying and reading im gonna have to do before i even consider start trading , however i am lost in where so i start to as far as choosing a strategy . I chose to start reading about options ( which i do understand it is contract trade other then stock trade ) but now im not sure about it anymore since the costs seems to be great. I also have a full time job which only allows me to trade some time later in the afternoon.

Hello everyone! I'm somewhat new to trading. I've been interested in it for a couple years now, and read most of a few books (sometimes I don't finish). I haven't really taken to plunge to get behind the drivers seat, as taking on this endeavor alone is overwhelming. I'm committed to working through the 4 step process. After that, we'll see. I need to start paper trading ASAP, and put some of the technical analysis knowledge I have to the test. I have ninjatrader 8, but man this platform is confusing. Going to have to watch a lot of tutorials!

Intro
I tried to introduce myself first but couldn't figure where so I flunked the first test. I worked in the Heavy Construction Biz for 40 years and it took a toll on me. I worked my way up from the ground up to an executive position. They forget to tell me huge increase in Salary but no Life with a wife and twin boys. Anyhow in the office on Monday then on the plane to hit some jobs then fly back Friday night. Health went to Hell and Doctor said all health issues related to stress. We did work in 32 States so I would hit a few each week. Up and quit at 60 and took very early retirement. Got Bored in 2 weeks so a friend wanted me to sell gun barrels made from a CNC machine. During the 40 years I traded stocks here and there but i surely wasnt a Jim Cramer. Decided to do both since selling gun barrels doesn't take that long once you establish a customer base.
Damn the man wrote a book instead of an intro.:clap:
