We only have 2 red US dollar announcements at 1pm and 1 30 pm UK time

Other than that not much going in atm

Will be around 12 50 pm to 2 00 pm and then maybe after 2 30 pm to 4 00 pm ish

Sometimes that early 6 30 - 9 00 am slot is so important to get your trading sorted out

Yes been keeping an eye on it

To make 20% a day on a small retail account is possible - I could do it and MM now - in fact he's been averaging 25 -35 % a day with small stakes on a £1k live account.

But to try and do it on a $25 - 50 - 100 K account would be very difficult - most normal retail traders - unless they are multi millionaires and can handle $10k losses etc with no problem

I reckon to average 3 - 5% per day - day in day out is still beyond 90% of all intraday traders

The other thing Mr FOX says is all a K I S S approach - and that makes me wary - very wary

Yes ok on a $500 - $2k account - but on big numbers - I think emotions take over

Dow Jones is an excellent intraday trader

I am sure pushed he could do 20% a day on a small account - but on his $70 - 100 - + account I reckon he keeps his stakes under 0 3 % of capital and is probably very happy on 2% + day - ie with a lot larger money

Mr Fox could be just a very good Poker player - with regards to making 20% average a day on a $50 - 100 - 200K account - no way sustainable - with or without compounding over weeks and months etc etc

That's good and its very much on

I am sure loads could on a demo and under say $1k etc - but then say once you start having say $50 a pip and seeing the money numbers go minus $200 or minus $500 - then your mind and logic starts to think - what am I doing with my own money :-0

Will I get it back etc etc

Now if we used DJ's money or Mr Fox's millions - then we would all try and get up to 50 lot size and think $20k intraday wins - no problem lol

1 min LR Chart with KT in a TW marked

Note levels and LRs going over price just prior to the Open

Drop was quick - approx 40 pips in 10 mins

I went with the EU - similar set up and missed the start of the EJ

Classic example of time / levels/ PA / LR's / etc all lining up and not being manipulated or held at that time

6 39 am

LitS areas first (all approx ie areas from 10 to 20 pips for intraday)

EU - 1315 -30

GU - 5825 - 40

EJ - 139 95 - 140 10

UJ - 123 30 - 40

UChf 9200 - 9220

UCad 2295 - 2310

The fact that its a speech does not help us atm

After hr change we had a bit of dollar weakness - with EU / GU etc bouncing up 3-5 pips - but so far no real effect

Whether that might change as speech goes on - dont know - but do know more US dollar red news at 1 30 pm as well

I need back over 1210 and then 1222 to be scalp buying and holding them longer and basically under 1210 still EU is a sell for now
