Hi
Just found the forum been trading for 3 years mainly FTSE first three months cost me, next 2 years had a really good run (68% -72% win rate) then lost more than I would want to and am struggling to be profitable again confidence I think. Looking for a lot of inspiration or knowledge feel like I have a lot to learn. Looking forward to some good information.

Hello everyone,

My name is Prince Natuhwera, and I am a seasoned forex and cryptocurrency trader with over 4 years of experience in the financial markets. Based in Uganda, East Africa, I have developed a deep passion for trading and an extensive understanding of both forex and crypto markets, with a particular focus on tokenomics in the cryptocurrency space.

I approach trading with a well-rounded strategy that combines both technical and fundamental analysis. For my long-term market perspective, I rely heavily on COT (Commitments of Traders) reports and fundamental analysis to understand where the market is heading. This gives me a solid foundation for identifying key trends and potential market movements.

When it comes to executing trades, I take a purely price action approach. I do not use indicators, as I believe price action provides the most accurate and reliable signals for timing entries. By analyzing price behavior and market structure, I aim to enter trades at optimal points to capitalize on larger moves in the market.

My trading style is all about precision and patience—allowing the market to develop before making informed decisions based on solid research and analysis.

I'm excited to join the Trade2Win community to connect with like-minded traders, share insights, and continue growing as a trader. I look forward to exchanging knowledge and experiences with you all!

Best regards,
Prince Natuhwera

Hi everyone,

I'm Brett B. I had a spell of trading around 2008 (great time to start lol) but I'm trying to get started again.

I tried the usual buy n hold strategy for most of the time but in 2022 I was caught holding a load of REITs and stuff... lesson learnt there. I managed to turn around my T212 account (up 20% November 23 - July 24) but then I flatlined.

More recently I joined a well known YouTuber's paid community. I can see that their approach works but their chart pattern is kind of complex to spot.

The best thing was their Discord group which gave me the idea to download some stock data and build my own market beating strategy (my day job is software development). I tried a couple of things. The first thing didn't work, the second did work but was kind of strange, but then I spotted something very interesting...

I'll share details later once I've tested it more. At the moment I'm obsessing over whether it's actually profitable. It has a 50% success rate, 40% breakeven and 10% loss rate. Average win is 8-10% and average loss is 30%. Does that smell profitable?

My custom built backtester bot using 400+ stocks with data 1971-2024 says it's profitable, as does a little Monte Carlo simulator I built. It's also [apparently] working with real money. It massively outperforms the FTSE but I can't find enough US stocks to test it with [currently the buy signals mostly come at the same time, so my backtesting bot is sometimes stuck with huge piles of cash].
