Horrible "choppy" trading session today for my indicator to cope with. As you can see in the chart below there were 8 "buy and sell signals" today which is not the norm. The last time it was this "erratic" was the 21st May 2021. As a result I made a loss today trading. First I lost £1,212 (see the picture below) on a stupid trade were I let my emotions get the better of me again as per usual and I changed my mind soon after entering the trade and closed it. The second trade was a "short" and I lost £819 after the DOW failed to follow trough on the selling. Got out when the signal changed which is a kind of "stop loss" I am using in my system. The Selling and Buying Volume Money Flow indicator is not a "lagging" indicator in any way and it does react very quickly so you can cut any losses. The second trade where I lost £819 was basically the "spread" amount of the trade which wasn't too bad a loss. I have still made a profit on my trading account of £2,182 but have decided to cut down the CFD contracts I trade from 50 to 25 so as not to risk "blowing up" my account. By the way I am using a Trading212 practice account with a starting balance of £50,000.
