I'd add that if you start with demo account, you'll be able to define yourself how much capital would you personally require, considering you trading style and strategy.
Drawn on my trading career in the past, even if you have more, you always start with very little money - this is simply a psychological issue. And when you trade with little money, you will always feel it is easy to make money. When you manage a huge amount, you then will fear and you lose your confidence sometimes.
I think there is no limitation to that.But I believe you must invest a capital you afford to lose.
So the only difference when trading with bigger amounts of cash is a psychological burden and the ensuing obstacles?
I think I better question would be what return could a half decent trader expect with a years experience with never taking massive risks? if course, it has to be sustainable as well..
